both my mom and my aunt passed away from problems that happend after they had their gastric bypass back in the 90's. I and going to go with the band because if it goes bad i can get it removed and be back to normal.... there is no going back from a gastric bybass.

bubbles don't sweat the small stuff.... those people are maybe jealous because they feel the losing weight will be easyier for you.... everyone is different i did weight watchers with my wife and stuck to it... didn't lose as much as i did with atkins. stoped atkins huge rebound.... i plan on use a combo of lapband and atkins. i will call it lapkins.... anyways all you need to do whats good for you. only care about how you feel about yourself and screw the rest of them don't take negative in cause thats what you will put out... stay positive and keep that picture of what you will look like thin in your mind and in no time you will be that hot babe... good luck

:huh2:i have good insurance with my wife but can't afford alot out of pocket cost... the two drs that i talked to were around 7000 out of pocket with my 80/20 insurance that is higher then what we can afford cause we are looking to do two... i know i kinda have the buffet attitude where i want everything and don't want to pay alot...but my hands are tied.... who did you have and how high was your out of pocket?

i think its ok to tell or not to tell people... i everyone knew when i did well on atkins and then everyone knew and talked about it when i failed... if i do the band i don't think i will tell anyone either. just don't want the conversation about the process with my friends and family. the OOOHSS and WOWWWs can get to me. plus i think its fun if they don't know
