Well I can tell a difference you look GREAT! I had my appointment today with the fitness instructor. I was the only one there so it was GREAT. I've actually hired her to come to my house once a week for a session. I can't wait until July 22nd. I know it's only a month away but I'm ready for it to be NOW. Glad your doing so well. Keep it up! How did you do after your fill? Do you feel any restriction?

Have you updated any pictures? Can you tell a difference in your appearance? I know you said before you couldn't really see the loss.

That's awesome. Yeah it would have been nice to know that you shoud have drank something before you went. Does he have any rules about eating or drinking before a fill? I know from the site that they say don't do eat within 4 hours of getting a fill. I am so happy for you. I can't wait until July 22nd so I can get my 2nd appointment out of the way and the paperwork done. Of course, I have no idea how long the paperwork process takes.

Hey your appointment is coming up in a couple of days how are you doing getting those last 2 lbs gone? I have my 2nd surgeon appointment on July 22nd and they will submit my paperwork after that visit. Aetna is usually pretty fast with the approval so we are hoping for an August surgery date. I'll keep you posted.

i hope your appointment went well with Dr. Baptista. He's my surgeon and I have my 2nd appointment with him on the 22nd. Then they will submit my paperwork and I can get a surgery date. Good luck and message me anytime.

Wow it sounds like you are doing great. Only 2lbs away from his goal. Once you get rid of Ms. Flow you know you'll loose it. Your probably retaining all kind of water now. I'm feeling much better now and got some good news from the surgery office. My supervised diet ends on July 9th instead of the 23rd. So they are scheduling my second visit with the doc on the 22nd of July. I am so excited to get that part done and get the insurance approval. I'm just ready to get this process going! The kids are doing great...running me around like crazy. My son gets out of school in 2 weeks for the summer (he's in preschool) so we will have 2 months with no school. I'm going to have to find some activities for them and the sitter. How's your little one?

I just wanted to check on you and see how you are doing. I'm having my psych eval the 29th and i've done the dietician. I have to reschedule the fitness because i was sick. I'll be finishing up my 3 month diet on July 23nd and am schedule my 2nd visit with the surgeon the week after that. I'll keep you posted.

I went to see Dr. Cwyes today and I'm going to the nutritionist at 3 p.m. today. Then meeting with the Fitness Consultant on Monday. I thought I would be done with my 3 month supervised diet in June but the office told me today that I wouldn't be done until the end of July so now we are probably talking about a very late August but most likely Sept surgery date. So that was very disappointing. I'm hoping once they get the records and talk to my insurance again they will be able to move it up. I'll keep you posted.

WOW! Just saw your pictures. I can't believe how good you look and 25 lbs that's amazing! Things are progressing with me. I have an appointment tomorrow with a bunch of people (not sure exactly who) and then I hope next week with the nutritionist. I'll let you know how that appointment goes tomorrow. I just can't get over your results amazing! I'm so happy for you.

I haven't talked to you in about a week so I wanted to see how things were going. I finally looked at your photos and was amazed. We are about the same weight and close to the same build. I'm hoping I can go with the 1 incision as well. Hope things are going great for you!

Thanks they came through and I was able to open and print them with no problem. I think I'll be ok with my kids...their both going through a mommy phase right now because i just went back to work after being off for 6 months. So they are so used to me being the full time caregiver that it's hard when I'm trying to work. Every time I come out of my office they are running over and wanting me to pick them up. I figured I would do what I did after my second c-section. I would walk my son to the couch and sit down and then help him get on the couch in mommy's lap. That seemed to work well.

That's a little strange so I'll have to wrap my brain around it. I'm still not 100% sure about Dr. Baptista vs. Cwyes. I really liked Cwyes but he only does surgery on Monday and Thursday and I'm trying to take as little time off as possible. New job and I really don't know the people so I didn't want to tell them I was having surgery and what kind. I'll have to really think about it. Keep me posted on your progress it's so nice to know someone in Jax who uses the same facility. Oh I remember one thing I wanted to ask. What did they say about picking up your daughter? I have a 2.5 year old and 1.5 year old. Neither would be happy if I couldn't pick them up. Thanks again for everything it's so nice talking to someone who's gone through it.

I'm waiting on my appointment with the dietician. We were shooting for surgery on July 2nd with Dr. Cwyes but we aren't going to make that date. So I'm not switching to Dr. Cwyes now because Dr. Baptista does surgery on Friday and I want to take the least amount of time off since I just started my new job. Keeping my fingers crossed that I will meet with the dietician this week or next. How are you doing post surgery and on mushies now right? Have you seen any weight loss? I know it's still early and you really shouldn't be focused on loosing but I know it would be killing me to know.

I am excited but need to stay off the boards a little bit i think. I came across a forum today that was completely negative. People who had the band for months or years and never lost weight so I got discouraged again. Next step for me is the nutritionist and getting all the medical records to get approved. I'll keep you posted...and please keep me posted on your progress.

What kind of pre-op diet are you on?

I went to the seminar last night and Dr. Cwyes was talking about you...of course he didn't mention your name but said he did a surgery on monday called the SLIP...single incision in the belly button. I really liked him and I think I want to switch to him.

today went great and I'm going tonight to the seminar with my girlfriend (she's considering having it done). My insurance is pretty easy. It only requires 3 months supervised diet with a doctor and 1 meeting with a dietician. I've finished my 3 month supervised diet and I'm waiting for them to schedule me with the dietician. Lucky for me over the past three months my doctor has done every blood test known to man so they think they have everything we need. We're talking about surgery dates at the end of June.
