My experience with the vomiting,pbing or sliming is exactly like Brandy's,one trick I did in the beginning of my journey was to use baby spoons & fork's when I ate till I was able to tell what amount would go through the band well.for me getting the LB surgery was the best thing I ever did.good luck & keep us posted......Crystal

Ya sliming happens to me too,the worst part is if you get the slime on your clothes YUCK! it's very hard to get it off so when Im out & about I always have traveling baby wipes on hand just in case.good luck.....Crystal -
A little trick I did was... heat a gel pack (wheat bag,magic bag ect.) & because my gas pain was in my low abdomen I wore 2 pair's of underwear,I then stuck the heated gel pack between the pair of underwear so it would stay snug against my tummy & i would walk,walk,walk.The heated gel pack would also come in handy for those long car rides too.Another thing I did was when I had gas pain & was to tired or sore to walk I would lay down & shake,wiggle my feet & or legs to move the gas around.good luck & keep us posted...Crystal

Hi,I'm Crystal I just joined this site,I got banded in Oct 2008,I'm down 52bls now,just wanted to meet people with the Lap band to share my journey with,also get some advise & incoregment with those week's you work your butt off & no weight is coming off grrrrr.lol.
My biggest delama right now is when im out in public & not paying attention to my bit size's & the food get's STUCK in my band how i get it out undetected,any trick's or hint's out there for me? thanks a bunch & very happy to meet you all.
