hello hope u r having a good thanks giving. i do definetly need a wt loss buddy i do not really have anyone to give me any encouragement . i have had my band 2 months and 2 weeks i have had 1 fill and go on monday nov,30 for my second 1 i cannot get motivated to workout i did get nme a new bicycle however cant get my husband to pump up the tires and even understand what i can eat or drink i still thinks i am supposed to b on liquids the rest of my life. he also thinks t hat i should have lost 100+lbs by now he doesnt believe that it supposed to take mayb a year or so he has never read a book or been on the internet to find out anything anway hope to hear from u soon

:thumbup::cursing: hello everyone another day and no chat i was hoping to b able to get on and i am so disappointed it just didnt happen.what r they working on that is keeping the chat part from let us know we might not under stand it all i am a new bander and get so much information from the site from the ppl who have been all banded for a longer period of time they give u support when u r having a bad day and when u loose wt no matter how much they let u know u have done a good job i couldnt wait to get up in morning to get om and now or at least when i was coming home i would b excited to get back on here alex dear alex please fix it soon

hello everyone well its already been 2 months since i got my band i have already had 1 fill and go nov 30 for my 2nd one i am loosing wt sometimes i think it is too slow i have dropped down from a size 22-24 to a size 16-18 and ppl r all telling me how good i am doing they can c my wt loss but when i c myself in a mirrow i c my self as an obese lady i am wondering just how long i will have these feeling even if i am a size 10-12 i am still not exercising as i should cant get motivated to go to the to the gym i have bathing suits and gym clothes to wear more than enough i am going back to the therapist i used to go to to go to i am hoping she can help me i think she is a good thereapist tu all:smile::biggrin:

:frown::thumbup:hello everyone i just got my band i have only had it 3 weeks tomorrow i am so glad i have it it took me a long time before i found the right dr i ran into 2 wt loss surgeons and they were the pitts there staff lied to me and did everything they could to keep me from getting my band they lied about me saying i couldnt swallow and i had a hiatal hernia when my wt loss surgeon did my wt loss surgery if he had seen 1 he would have removed it then so i really think both of the drs 1 in charlotte and the other 1 in pinehurst r dumb and should b reported to the medical revvue board and get there drs license taken away:smile2:

hello evey today i am starting my 4th post-op day so far i really havent any pain the site where myport is at is sore and very tender i havent hAd any gas i am sticking to the liquid diet but the scales say i have gained so at this time i am not worried cause i know i will soon loosing big time i am walking too 3xn thursday i am still very much excited about getting my band i wish i could find the right words for my surgeon dr jon pierrllo and all of his staff for being so kind and letting me call them as much as i did and for returning my calls in a very timely manner i feel dr pierrllo u r my God send i will b eternally grateful God bless u ur family an d everyone on ur staff

:tt1: hello everyone well i had my lapband surgery on tues sept 15 had to b at hospital by 5:30am surgery was at 7:30 i had to have adhesions removed plus i got the band i am really sore today husband is fussing as usual cause i wont get up and walk he doesnt want me to sit and rest as he thinks walking constantly is what i am supposed to walk and drink water he knew i was supposed to drink but it only considered water as a liquid and only thought i was supposed to drink 30cc and hr and iF I drank anything else i was doing it all wrong and was gonna make my self sickk i had to read about the whole book the dr gave me so he would know and still dont think he believed me after all that i just cant walk from the time i get up until i go to bed i just cant as he wont let me rest just in my reclinner if i want to rest i have to go to bed he doesnt like me to b on the phone or on the computer he wants me to b sweeping the floor or mopping or getting onto the floor and making sure nothing is out of place he doesnt like papers or mail lying around and he really doesnt like for my friends to come and c me when they call and want to come over i am supposed to tell them we were just leaving he really doesnt like our grandsons to come over too much but when they do all magazines papers books the cofee table cleaned off he wants it to look as if no one lives here:frown:

:thumbdown: well its 1 weeK UNTIL i have my surgery i cant believe it i am finally getting my band i am soo excited but also a little scared will b glad to finally get it i hope that i loose my weight i want to b healthy i cant wait to show all those ppl who didnt really want me to have it ppl who told me i would not b a good candidate for the surgery who gave me the run around and even took my money and for the wt loss surgeon who lied just to keep me from getting my band i cant wait to show him especially his incopetant staff who thought they knew everything but didnt:thumbup::ohmy:

:cursing::laugh:hello all just wanted to let u know that as soon as i get my band and i can get into exercising i want to join the group my surgery is tuesday sept 15 so its just in a little over 3 days i am excited but so far i am not the least bit nervous everything is ready talk to u all soon

:thumbup:hello everybody i went to hospital today to get all my admissions forms and test done i got kinda upset for after the nurse weighed me she told me she would have to let my surgeon know cause i had gained wt since i was weighed last thurs i think it was there scales since they had the old type and not the newer digital ones i didnt get a phone call from dr today but as soon as i got home i started on my protein shakes and took my fluid pills i hadnt taken them in a few days and weighed on my scales which r new and i was down to the wt i had when i went last thursday to c my dr i think if i dont go off my liquid diet and drink my protein drinks i will even loose more wt before tues sept 15 so long for now:huh2:

hello i want to do something like this i live in nc and i am having my surgery on september 15,2009 i wont b able to exercise for even a few weeks afterwards i know i need to get into an exercise routine so i can loose all my wt i belong to a gym but havent gone in a while so i need all the encouragement i can get nancycarolsnead@yahoo.com
