I was banded on July 27,2009 so it's been well over a year for me but I have lost 138 pounds so far. Congratulations on getting the lap band, it's the best thing I have ever done and haven't had any complications at all since I have had the procedure. I wish you luck on your journey and if you need someone to talk to or need advice I will be here -
Couldn't be happier with my lap band outcome, best thing I have ever done for myself. I can pretty much eat whatever I want and have maintained my weight
