I have 3.75 right now, and have for 3 or 4 months now. Somedays it is a bit tight, but most it it great. I love being over 3.0, I really needed it!

Sweetie-- Welcome to bandland! This is just how your band will be! One day you can eat something just fine, and then tommorow you will try to have it for left overs and it will be a no go. It is part of the band, and it still happens to me after more than a year now. Wouldn't trade it for anything, keeps things interesting after all!! lol...

First let me congratulate you and be happy for you as well! Am I happy today??? Hell yeah. Looked in the mirror today and saw a skinny girl smiling at me, hey wait it was me! Anyday bad, skinny is better than a good day fat....lol....

Janice If that is your goal you can accomplish it! I am over a year now and NOTHING I do mean, NOTHING goes into my mouth without forethought and deciding if it is a good choice. And people expect WLS surgery to be like magic, they don't think about the fact it has to come off the same way it went on, 1 pound at a a time! Silly people...

My insurance is telling me that they only pay for skin removal...ugh... Also skin causing a problem is it limited to just my tummy? What about the crap in between my thighs??? I need to ask.

YOuU CAN DO THIS, you can do this! Think of yourself skinny, healthy and beyond happy! Think of never having to wonder if those jeans will fit, if it comes big enough for you or if you embarassed yourself by eating too much. Think of all the times you cried because you are overweight, think about whatever the reason is that you want to be banded and live it, breathe it! YOU deserve more. And as all things, this too shall pass. You can do it, we get through it. It sucks, but in the end it doesn't matter, it is well worth any price we pay!
