Iwould say yes and no. Have I changed no, but I am less willing to settle. I want to be happy now, and I derserve it. He hasn't changed, and I guess I expected surgery to make us better, it didn't. I just don't want to spend the rest of my life unhappy just like I didn't want to spend it fat....

Brandy--from one Brandy to another, you are ok sister! lol...the first time I drank after surgery was at my 30th birthday party, I got completely completely hammered. I couldn't even tell you if I over ate because I was that drunk! It is ok to have a bad day once, so learn from it! Don't do it again, and if you drink again invite me over!

I think that women leave their men because the realize they deserve better. I don't think it is because they have changed that much, at least I don't think I have. But my marriage is falling apart before my eyes and there isn't a damn thing I can do! I have not changed I swear.

Well, as of this morning I now have 3.25 or 3.70 cc's in my band....and I have NO CLUE which one it is...no joke... I went to the Dr and asked for them to take .05cc's out, a VERY small amount. Well the nurse did it. She said she took .05 cc's like I asked and then a few minutes later told the Dr I was at 3.25?? Ok, I started at 3.75 so how can I be at 3.25? lol...UGH...I am clueless. But irregardless of whatever it is I feel better than I did....rotfl....ugh....

Maud-- To stay away from crap and make good choices the first thing I do is NOT have it available. I don't have it in my house or near me. To stay motivated I think of the way I want to look and feel. One thing to remember to eat shit, or not exercise is a SHORT term fix. It is also just a short term satisfaction, being happy, being skinny is long term. It takes longer to get there but definately worth the wait! If you need help maybe you should look for a support group on the outside. But if I can help you in any way at all, please just let me know! You can do this, you deserve it! HUgs

I agree with Jack, that you need help on the outside for this. He will not change unless he wants to, you can not make him change. I am married to a precription drug addict, so I know what you are thinking. You think about the nice guy that he is most of the time, but get over it. Saying things like "He's not a junkie" is just making excuses for him. Make your plan, break away and let him get the help he needs. Somtimes leaving is the only way......
