I am almost 2 years out now, but I can tell you that I have changed my life. I did get an unfill after hitting goal. I look at food very differently now, and it is about eating for life, not eating to live. I know the calorie count of just about everything I eat. I like it that way. I holpe it continues 10 years from now... I am still here for the friends and support. I know really at any point I could fall off the wagon.

I am really sick of people who know it all calling attention to themselves. Really sick of it...

My Dr recommended the RYN as well. I thank god everyday I made the RIGHT choice for me. I wanted to be more in control of the process. My mom did the bypass a few months after me and is having a very tough go of it, and not loosing well. I would ask him as someone else suggested why? Research it more, both of them and present your case to him. I told my Dr no, and found another one who recommended the band and supported me. DO what is right for you! Good luck!

I agree that 20 pounds in 1 month is FANTASTIC! You need to give your body time to catch up with that great loss. I can tell you there were times I thought for sure I was stuck and weight would fall off in big amounts. I know they save 1-2 pounds per week, but that is an average overall. Some weeks more, some less. As long as you are following the plan you are ok! Good luck!

Hey ladies Just checking in to tell you that I am alive, but barely. I am getting worse even on the meds. I feel like death...no voice to talk anymore either. UGH.... I will check back in when I feel better! Pray for me. I hace double ear infection, strep throat and upper respitory infection, it is BAD!

I think we are working it out! I think we agree it needs to be more than 1 person, and transitional. I am willing to help out with graphics, and before/after pics.
