I would say he's got issues, and pulling other people down with him makes him feel better. He's a jerk, don't give him a second thought! You are doing a great job and don't let him make you doubt yourself. You are worth more than that!

Kris--I know I felt like you before surgery. I think most of us do. The band is life changing for us, and that is scary. But I can tell you that my life is so much better now. I am thankful everyday for the band. It was the best decision I ever made. It is normal to be scared, but don't let it control you. If you want a different, healthy life than the band is for you! This is a good place to come when you are scared, friends can help you here!

Steph--I feel the same way. I am getting overwhelmed with the stuff I need to take care of now as well as the stuff I need to take care of later. I think timing of surgery is never ideal. I know we can handle it. Maybe we need to make a check sheet?? lol... Glad to hear your daughter is doing better! That is awsome! Brandi--how is it going girl?? AND btw, I am very weirded out looking at my own face right now! lol....

I know that is scary when you hear it, but remember Dr's are conservative always. I was told I would never make my goal weight. But I can tell you with some extra work I did it plus some. I am not going to sugar coat it, it was harder at the end but it can be done! I was stuck at about 80% and kicked my butt into high gear. I began working out more than I was and changed my protien intake. It was the hardest weight to loose but definately worth it! Many people have made their goal weight on here, it can be done but Dr's don't like to get hopes up. If you want it bad enough you will do it! Good luck to you! :rolleyes2:

Ya know that is what matters! If you had a good time and something to remember. A lot of people spend crazy amounts of $$ and are miserable on their wedding day because it wasn't what they expected! I think you have an awsome story! :smile2: And congrats on the tt date...what is it??

Ok, so here is my before....blah....320 pounds size 30.... And now.....159 pounds size 6!

In my case, I burp alot if I over eat. I asked my Dr if it would cause problems he said "None other than loosing friends". :smile2:
