I would wait to have it sized. I have had my rings sized 3 times now and can't have them done anymore. I wish I would have waited more to do it. Now I have a ring that spins and falls off but can't do anything. It is a 2 piece set so a ring guard doesn't work....

I have had the band over 3 years now and I am doing great! I hate to put it this way--but people but silicone in other parts of their body and are just fine! It is the best thing I ever did for myself! Most of the time I never even know it is there except for when I eat! I no longer graze like a cow or eat too much! LOVE IT!

I will try not to go anywhere! :clap: And I see Beer bottle by the pumpkin---I thought you were trying to give us a lesson on drinking.... :tongue2:

Alex--I have to be honest and tell you this is why I am hardly on LBT here. It is hard to get help when you need it. There are WAY too many cases of where people get away with crazy crap. I got sick of the negativity and mostly post here and occasionally venture out. It makes me sad--I miss the way things used to be, it felt better.

BE PROUD! You have come soooo far and we all know it is MUCH easier to put the weight on than take it off! Putting it on is a no brainer---taking it off takes hard work and hard effort! I am proud that I have lost 165, I tell everyone. And I love when they say "NO" and I get to show them a picture! It was a lot of work and I am going to be proud!

Thanks Pool! Me too! I am back to school and worried about my weight the first day! It is hard as hell to spend 9 hours here and not eat shit out of hte vending machine....blah....

WOW! I am hoping D never gets that bad! Yesterday he was off his meds for bloodwork...just off them a few days and life becomes hell. I haven't seen him today so I guess we will see later how it goes.... I just want back the man I love!

Angie--he was diagnosed within the last year, but we have been together 16. He is getting help, but sometimes I just think that I can't do it anymore. I really feel like this isn't his fault, nor my children so I don't want to leave. I know there have got to be other people that deal with this--it is really very new to me. Last night (most likely today too, but he hasn't woke up) he was in a depression state and it turned into rage. I think some of the worst things is everything that he says that he doesn't even remember or believe that he has said.....

Hmmmm.....I thought it was just my family! My parents choose not to come see Faith the entire time she was there EVEN after she cried and asked them to come.....and then went on a last minute vacation.....niiiiiccceeeee hu? I personally could do without my family. Wrote a letter to them both and it was HARSH....BAD BAD BAD. Told them the truth that my kids never wanted to see them again (which they said themselves)

Hello there! I have a 4cc band....I was banded in August 2006. I currently have 1.5 ccs in Linus, but at one point was at 3.75 ccs. I lost a total of 165 in 18 months and have mantained it for 19 months. So I am kinda an old hand at this! :frown:

Hello all....checking in....trying to step away from some drama....lol... Ebony....I think you are doing the right thing. You have been working this for awhile, and I don't think it is NOT your thing to work on, it is HIS! HE is a grown man--you do not need to police anyone. Policing is for people who do wrong--if he is doing wrong it is on him, he needs to check himself! Take care of the things that YOU need to take care of--YOU! I am a mess here in the hospital with Faith and pretty livid at the moment. My mom who claims to be such a good "grammy" has not been to the hospital to see her AT ALL. She chose to go on VACATION today and keeps calling me for updates....wtf? Faith is really upset that they didn't come to see her, and what kid wouldn't for pete's sake she just had surgery. My mom and dad want everyone to "be a family" and fall at their feet but NEVER return the favor. How can you not be at the hospital when your grandkid has surgery?? Am I expecting too much?

Talked to Doug today---he is going to talk with him, but gave me very scary news. He has a PPO for stalking an ex RIGHT NOW! He is going to try to get to him in the next few days. But the asshole had the nerve to come over and talk to me while my hubby was fixing my car. So I made it a point to leave. Later when I was back out I felt something looking at me. He was standing by his side window watching us. I am thinking I am going to have to talk to hubby and that scares the shit out of me! Clearly this guy is NOT just an asshole anymore....

lol...it isn't so bad once you get the hang of it! Don't forget to friend me... I am exhausted. Been at the ER all day with Faith. She is miserable. Tooth and chest infection. I hate seeing my baby sick.

Hubby didn't go to poker, so I couldn't talk to Doug. I plan on going to see him tomorrow. Thanks for checking in!
