I am so glad I was not the only one in a panic. This happened last weekend as well.....when I need LBT the MOST!!! :mad: :mad:

To get myself out of this BAD habit I am indulging myself in trashy magazines (no not porn! lol) like Us, and those weekly mags that have all the drama (made up and real) of stars and such. I get so into them there is no way I am thinking of eating! lol...good to be wrapped up in something other than my tummy!

My doc told me under NO circumstances to begin my BC pills before 6 weeks. It is very dangerous and can cause blood clots!

I agree with this. Think about portion size even 15 years ago... A standard LARGE drink was 16 oz...which has now turned into 64 oz. AND we know it just does not stop with just drinks, it is all about BIGGER and MORE. Americans certainly think size matters. Bigger car, better! Bigger house, better! Bigger ring, better! Bigger a$$.......bad..... BUT we did not use our own self control and got ourselves into this own mess. food is our demon, and only we can slay it on our own. For me that means not putting myself anywhere near where the devil may lay, and he lays under the buffet line daring you to eat more!!!

Oh I love my pets, my house is a zoo! I have 3 rescued ferrets, they are my joy. And then there is my BABY BOY, my english bulldog. And then there is my black lab. And then my best babies, my bunnies. And then there is my life, my kitty. And if I didn't have enough there is my fish...lol.... Running out of room for the kids! :confused:

Ok maybe I missed something, and I don't know where this came from but... I think Kathy's point is that she feels like some people act as if they are better than others, or use God to hold themselves higher. I don't really think God is her issue. Kathy--I am sorry that you are having trouble. I understand that you came to this board for support that you probly can not get in your outside life. One thing to remember is you are coming into contact with a huge number of people, and even though it seems like many we are all not the same. Just as it's not fair for anyone to be chastized, it is not fair to judge many by the actions of a few!

Hey all, I need some help. I have been STARVING for about 3 days. I am holding strong and not had any Cookies, fast food, ect. I tell my tummy NO NO NO! But the growls are begining to overshadow thoughts... I am just beginning to eat smooshies. What can I eat that is good for me but will last longer with that fuller feeling? I have added protien to everything..lol.. Does anyone have anything that just hits the spot? (I can not wait until I am able to get a first fill....)

Sweet potatoes are wonderful! I love to make them into mashed potatoes with a little splenda in them! Yummy! I also love baked sweet potatoes with cinnamon. AND sweet potatoes Soup. Oh, I need sweet potatoes now....

Ding Dong the witch is gone the witch is gone!!! I made it! Now I have to clean up all the little dog piles her piece of ***** dog left all over my house and put my house back together! WOOO HOOOOO!! If I ever hear her say again "I didn't think you would be able to eat that much!" I WILL kill her, no stopping me I swear!

Ok I am sorry but I need to rant to someone, anyone who will listen. My DH after being gone for almost a week decided to take off again with the boys fishing...grrrr..for yet another week... Well since I am back to work someone has to watch the kids. His solution, his aged grandmother who is the biggest pain in my a$$ ever! She is driving me nuts and it has only been 24 hours. She complains about everything. I have told her politely more than once that this is my home and I do things different than her...whatever. She doesn't listen. Nothing I do for this woman is good enough. She is driving me crazy. BUT that is NOT the real kicker. She had my hubby get her a TON of candy, all of my favorites before he left. And HE DID.... And has the nerve to eat it in front of me. I have had it all removed from my house because I am not strong enough to avoid it. I want it so bad...... I am hiding in my room just to stay away from it... After eating all of that garbage she has the audacity to eat my dinner, Lean Cuisine!! DOES that make any sense??? How am I going to make it through a week of this? I should be able to handle this, my degree is in Human Aging, I know all about elderly and right now I am ready to throw a pillow onto her head....grrrrrrr..... Thank you for listening and please pray for me that I will not do anything stupid, or eat any garbage!

congratulations! You look fantastic already! I bet that once you are able to get rid of all the IV fluids you will drop a few pounds. I bet you will be 3 sizes smaller on the bottom!

Hi Angi Welcome. I live in Michigan! Just read everything on these boards but remember to take them with a grain of salt. I freaked out about alot of the stuff on here, but you have to remember everyone is different, and so is their experiences!

With any surgery your heart has to be ok, so it wouldn't matter with the RnY either. It could be nothing, but they have to get it double checked. They LAST thing they want to deal with is heart failure while in surgery! Good luck!
