I went to Long Beach. My job has a convention there every year that we have to go to! BUT the weather was just amazing. Very hard to come home to darn snow!

Well after a hellish week in La I am back and feeling MUCH better after an unfill. Dr. filled me WAY too tight and I was miserable my whole trip. BUT I am now officially 100 pounds from goal! YEAH! :clap2: :faint:

Hello all! I am going tommorow to get a 3rd fill. I didn't loose a thing with the 2nd. So they are going to get me in early. My only concern, I have to fly out to LA Wednesday in the am. I am very nervous about having a fill and flying off. BUT it will make it easier for me to afford eating out every night in LA!

lol...glad to know I am not the only one going around making strange friends then!

Ok so I am a HUGE football fan. I have season tickets for my school MSU. I had every intention of getting myself to the mall this week to get some new jeans. My 28's are just too big now, but well I never made it. SO I had to wear these pants to the game. And couldn't find a belt. It rained and poured at the game. I had a slicker on, so I never thought about my bottom getting wet. Well those jeans were already TOO BIG, I mean I knew way too big. AND well, the rain would fall on my seat everytime I jumped up to cheer. Making them heavier and heavier each time. SO towards the end of the night, I jump up for a great play, and feel well a little drafty on my behind. NO SH*T they fell right off my butt. I could not even believe it. I freaked out and had no idea what to do. I was praying that no one saw until I heard a whistle behind me, you know the nice cat call. I sat down crying in embarassment and tried to pull the jeans back up. My DH looked at me and said "I guess the surgery worked hu?" OMG. I was horrifed. I wanted to get up and leave but I am in the middle of the row....and I was NOT passing anyone with those sagging jeans. I never got up for the rest of the game until it was over. I never want to go back to face those people. A lady from behind when we were leaving told me "Make sure you hold onto those." I wanted to die. I still want to die. I have never been so embarassed in my life. Now I have 2 things to do in the morning. 1. Sell my season tickets 2. Buy some new clothes Oh yeah #3, find some dignity somewhere! lol.....

You have to do with the goal in mind or you will go nuts. You have to think long term it will be worth it. It isn't easy but I does pay off! Good luck! And stay away from people eating your favorite foods, trust me!

I am not sure, my tattoo guy will not tattoo me now while I am loosing on the band. He feels it is a waste of money. He told me just because it is ok for one person does not mean it will be ok for me. Something to think about! I wanted one on the shoulder as well. My ankle one is doing fine right now though.

This is from PERSONAL experience. I was your daughter to the T, 14 years ago, only YOUNGER. I was 16. The more you push, the more she is going to buck. Be strong, set the rules and expectations and DO NOT WAIVER!!!! Trust me, give an inch and she will run with it. I ran off at 16 with my bad boy. It was not easy. I dropped out, and gave up everything. BUT there is NOTHING you can do to stop her if that is what she wants. There is a bright side, I married my bad boy at 17. He is now a great father to our 2 little ones and we have been married 12 years now. I am recently back to college at MSU. SO while my plans are off track, I got back on them later. She has to learn on her own, no you telling her anything will work. Trust me. If you need an ear, pm me. I have been her and I can tell you a lot about what she is thinking, really!

Guys, I am having a VERY rough time lately. I am only eating small amounts, and exercising. BUT since the 2nd fill I have gained 3 pounds. I am very very discouraged. I exercise at least 30 mins everyday and try to get 300-400 calories per meal. Anyone else having this problem??? I need a hug..... :crutch:

Well if that is the case, one can hope they get Hep. C from their drug addict...oh that was mean wasn't it?? Don't worry karma is gonna get em back!

I understand you want your mom to support you, but you may have to ultimately make the decision without her support. I am sorry that she is so unsupportive. I am sure as a mom the surgery part scares her to death, and she would rather say the obvious things that she is saying rather than saying "it scares me". My mom was freaked out, and still is a bit. But now she sees I did the best thing for me. And in the end, that is what you HAVE to do, think of YOU first!

My DH wears the most disgusting under wear until I find them (he hides tehm when he has not got them on) and the cut shredded before going into the trash. He tells me they are more comfortable, and no one will see them. BUT you'd think he would think different since he was in a very serious motorcycle accident last year in a pair! :)

I agree that we see Black and White most. Because that is the way it has become. Did you know EVEN 50 years ago that Italians were seen as closer to African Americans than white? What are they thought if as now? WHITE!!! Why? Because they were able to assimilate into our culture with their white skin. The cencus is ALL BASED on false constructed ideas of race. Race as we know it is a social construct. Until good ole' Darwin there were no races identified by color. Hey guys, a powerful rich man started this......go figure!

I agree I never ever make my kids finnish if they tell me they are full. And another problem is 20 years ago adult portions were the size of kids portions, but NOW they are HUGE.

I agree Wheezy. I do not want to feel like that from anyone, even Oprah. I can remember she was BIG for many years, and now high and mighty sometimes.
