For me I had bee ignoring so many things for so long... I also would NOT let myself be photographed (now too.) I had begun to have severe pain in legs, back ect. I couldn't ride with my kids at Cedar Point. My kids were making excuses FOR ME, why we couldn't do things. BUT the one that put me over the top to do it..... I couldn't watch a movie at the theatre with my kids anymore.....I didn't fit in the seat!

Ok ya'll I posted these in the before and afters, but wanted to post here as well. BTW....why don't we have a Before and During thread??? lol...

Ok here I go! I hate pics but I thought it was about time I did this. The before is THE ONLY pic I have of me at my highest.... The other was taken last night! :girl_hug:

Ok, I know I am not the only one who was afraid of the camera when they were larger. I mean there is only 1 picture of me at my highest because it was taken by my 7 year old and she wouldn't take NO for an answer. I am still now afraid of the camera. I would love to have updated pics so I can see my progress, but I hate the camera. I still will not sit on the other side of it. (I am a photographer.) Anyone else have or ever have this problem and how do you get over it? I am afraid to see fat me in photos, no matter what they are used for! Even if I do need to see them!

I say there are always three sides to every story because how we see things is always skewed. There is side 1, side 2 and somewhere in the middle is the real truth! But in this case much like Marilyn Monroe we may never know the real truth!

I have never heard of meat tenderizer. I do the coke when I do get stuck. My surgeon has told me not to make it a habit. But the belch after I drink it ALWAYS works for me. I would cringe at meat tenderizer...ugh... Good luck dear! :mad:

I think once you find the right group with the right people it will be worth the drive! While I agree the boards are great you need people closer sometimes! :mad:

I am so sorry things are not going well for you, but I do not believe it is a reason to give up hope. To me it sounds like you need more of a support system, do you go to a group at all? You need someone that will help hold your hand, not belittle you for making bad choices! Seek a support group or a friend that is great with support! Never give up hope, it is never too long to change your thoughts and relationship with food. You really don't need a relationship, food is for sustainment not pleasure. That is the way I have to think about it, otherwise I go nuts. Good luck!

I agree, and men get so much more use out of them! THEY wear them until there is nothing left and the holes in their butt shine out like the moon! I have to tear my DH in half once they get nasty because he so does not care if his butt is falling out! :angry

Happy Valentines Day to all! If anyone else needs help staying away from the damn chocolate, and cookies and all of that other junk--my hand is ready to hold yours! As long as you can pull me away from the temptations! My kids are home today, DH were planning a day just for us... Boo hoo... On the plus he didn't forget Valentine's day and came through with a sweet gift! Yeah! Steph--How is the cabbage breast doing? Has it helped you at all? Nat--we should get together sometime! I am near you every Thursday in Ionia, and all over Mi any other day of the week! And I think ya'all I am going to scan some before pics today and compare them with now. I am scared sh*tless. I hate the camera. BUT I need to see it! lol...

Nathalie I had surgery August 1st @ Hurley in Flint. I live in Jackson. So the Colts winning was a big deal here. My next door neighbor is personal friends with Tony and I have met him a few times, didn't help me at all with the win. I think next year is our year too! I have been waiting for it so darn long it hurts! :girl_hug:

Ok, I have lots of pet peeves, well because I am a b....anyways. MY BIGGEST... Blowing your nose at the table especially in a resturant. Good lord, it's gross and disgusting! No one want to hear it, see it or worry if you are going to blow snot on them, please get off your lazy a$$ and go to the bathroom if you need to blow! That includes my dumb hubby! grr.....

I had a mastitis when I was breastfeeding. I will give you a good remedy that worked for me, but it is a little weird. My grandma told me about it, and because of the EXTREME pain I tried it, and it did work for me. Wrap the breast in purple cabbage. Yes, I did tell you to put a vegatable on your chest. I just put it inside my bra. Make sure it is nice and cold. It not only acts like a cold compress, but there is something in the cabbage that draws the infection out. Sounds weird, but it was a life saver for me! It is all natural so you can use it with whatever the Dr. gave you to clear it up as well!

I think Zsa Zsa's hubby claiming the baby is just crazy. My guess is until the FIND the real father, everyone and their brother will be claiming the beautiful baby for the money. I love Anna, so I am very sad. And I do agree that she probly had post partum depression as well as depression for Danny.

Eating out bill has gone down, of course I no longer do fast food. If we do go out I get a kids portion and still take some home. As far as home food bills, a little bit. Not much, but I am still making my plates too big and waisting food.... :hungry:

I do not feel that schools should require it but I will be getting it for both my girls. My husband and I have thought long and hard about this. I do feel that if I can save them from something so bad I need to, it is my duty to protect them.

Thanks guys. I didn't do any measurements before surgery. So I guess the crappy scale is all I have to go by... :confused: I just hate sitting here and feeling like it isn't working. I appreciate all of the support!

Guys I am so depressed lately. I have not lost a damn thing since my fill about 3 weeks ago...nothing... I am NOT eating too much and watching what I eat. I even kicked up the cardio. And nothing.... My mom is getting ready to have the R EnY in a week, and all of her talk is making me think I made the wrong choice... :help:

I agree with you 100%. I do not think this country is ready for a woman president, although I would love to have one! I do think that whomever takes over the role as first minority preisident, be it woman, african american, latino, whatever had better watch out. I would hope we have progressed enough to not have violence, but I don't believe so. There are too many KKK members that won't stand for a woman or another minority as leader of this country......and they don't even vote!
