Nikki I can't even eat a HALF a bowl of anything... I typically eat 1/2 a bowl of oatmeal, or 1/2 an egg. Ect. I haven't gotten more than a 1/2 cup of food (or less) since I got banded. My DR told me the way to know if you need a fill is if you get hungry after you eat sooner than 3-4 hours later. Also eating too fast will cause you to eat more than you really can! :hungry: I can not eat rice, pasta or bread so I envy you there! They make me sick now, my band does not like them! I eat whatever the family is eating for lunch & dinner but typically about a 1/2 of a cup!

Ok, in the midst of our discussion I thought I would share this. My grandmother who is 65, and lost grandpa a few years ago was just diagnosed Friday with HPV. My grandma met a man on Match.com her age, and well things progressed.... NOW dear grandma has HPV, and the Dr has told her it is the strain (one of many) that is an STD. She is having a very hard time understanding this, and how do I help her? WHY is the HPV vaccine for those under 28?? We can all obviously get it, so why do the rest of us have to play Russian roullette with our lives? I am sure for many it many not be a worry since it is an STD, but what about the elderly women out there? Who start life over after loss of a partner in avery different world??

Well yes, by 6th grade we will be talking about it, but they can get the vaccine younger than that. As soon as they are old enough whether we are talking about sex yet or not they will get getting it!

Now I must say that I like that one! I love to read bumber stickers and personalized plates! You can tell alot about someone on what they are willing to say to the general public!

Ok guys.... I am feeling horrible today.. DH took me shopping because basically I have nothing to wear, so we thought we would hit the sales.... Well we went out and I got a ton of clothes, and didn't try on anything. The blue shirt I just got is an XL, which fit great so that is what I got... Guys out of like 12 shirts only a few fit. One is so tight there are 6" i swear missing where it should shut on my breasts... I feel fat and ugly..... WHY CAN'T ALL SIZES BE CUT THE SAME????? :cry :cry :cry :cry

WOW! A contract?? That is serious. I was banded on August 1st and do drink occassionally, but there is no beer anymore. BUT on the plus I get drunk (close to it) on 2 drinks.

I agree with Alexandra. OR if he does want to be married he certainly doesn't want you to be equals.

I agree that it may be a bit too soon for cheese. I did do the cream soups. Listen to your body and don't take things too fast!

Ok, if you read my response to this same question say before I got the band or a few months after I would have told you that I told no one really but my parents and my hubby. NOW I am telling people more (for good and bad) because I am proud of myself. I think that if you start out as a secret that is ok. But after awhile you may tell and that is ok too! I am surprised at how many I thought would be unsupportive or judgemental really aren't at all! Good luck either way to you!

I think your heart will tell you what the right thing to do is, and it is clear that either way you love kids, so I think where ever you end up, you will be great for kids! DO you need a decision now or can you wait until you are more sure of either?

My question is....DO those of you that did have your children vaccined tell them what they were for? Or really explained it? I think those that think they are giving girls free range to sleep around are wrong. They don't have to know what exactly it does. My girls will still be young enough though that we won't be talking about sex yet (dear, I hope) so maybe that skews my perspective.

ROTFL....I love all of these! But I still side with Jack. I am now telling people how I am loosing weight and I swear if one more persons says "oh the easy way" this chick will get getting her fills in jail for murder....I can not stand anymore of it!! I would rather have 15 kids all natural, all at once! BUT I do love my band and would do it all over again....lol..

Ok girl, if you are going to recommit yourself to the band, (which I think you should) you should do it the right way! First I hope you have a new dr, one who is not so damn rude! Secondly, I agree that you need to take time and NOT get a huge fill the first time. Talk with the Dr about all of the options, and help them decide what is best for you. One thing you need to recommit to is staying away from the foods that bring you down. You can do this, it is not too late! I agree that kids should always be in car seats. I remember that when I was young that we didn't wear seatbelts or car seats...what dummies are parents were! lol... I think you are spot on about bumper stickers being political placecards. I do not have any other than a sticker I made myself... I had the VW logo with "Anything boys can do girls can do better" in chrome. It was to keep my hubby away from my new car. It didn't work, someone (he still says it wasn't him) stole all the words off it and left just the VW logo. But after I thought about it, I did ask for it!! NOW no more bumberstickers, just my personalized plate...lol...but it says "Luv VW" as my plate number. I do love my car....
