Ok ya'll I got a fill yesterday and got an ear full as well about coffee and how by any means necessary I need to get off it....What do I do?? I havbe given up most everything in life that brought me pleasure, Coke, cake, chocolate, fast food. Where does it end?? I KNOW caffine can cause urges to make you hungry, but it is it going to hurt me otherwise??? Grr... this is enough to make me give up on the band, and WHY DID THEY NOT TELL ME 7 MONTHS AGO???

I agree Puddin. I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. The jerk left because he isn't the right one and the right one is looking for you! You need to remember you deserve better, and you will find your Prince Charming, but you may have to kiss a few toads first! :kiss2:

The rule with my Dr. is 1/2 hour before and 1/2 hour after. I usually wait longer after eating! :nervous

I am with ya! I would KILL for a PB & bananna sandwhich, but can't eat the bread, I would love to though. You give and take with the band and you get to take away fat. I like that! SO I gave up bread to take away weight.

You can get it at the Health food store. I have used it once, but I am not a huge fan of it. I know many find it works for them!

I am too Carlene. I have to have something that brings me pleasure in life! And *IF* it kills me, at least I will fit into a coffin....lol... I have no problem admitting I am a weakling for coffee, all kinds. I will try to cut back, but I will never cut it out!

Dianne I think you really got lucky! You could have ended up having to get an unfill as an emergency procedure! I am so glad you are better now. Take it easy!

I would definately stick to liquids for at least today and graduate tommorow to soft foods. I think that maylox would not hurt so I would do it! Good luck! Next time, rethink the apriocots.

I am glad so many agree with me. I tried this morning, I have not had a cup today. I feel like crap. My head is splitting and I want to crawl into a hole and die....it is killing me...ugh... She was very sure that coffee increases my appetite and can cause dehydration. Also mentioned that it will cause my band to erode. I am not getting that one because coffe goes on the inside of my stomach, band on the outside right??? BTW, I am brewing now. I can not deal with it....

I agree that no bread is good! I can no longer do it, and I am getting over it now. I also can not do rice and pasta.....I am better off for it! You will be too.

I got 1 Jacket for business and 6 shirts with it for undr $60 bucks. I had a coupon for $25 bucks off $75 or more and or course I shop clearance because I won't be wearing them long, but people have been complaining about my clothes, and I am in a job where I need to look good. Well I tried them on last night for my man, and he told me he hoped I saved the receipt because I am not going out looking that good... Sassy---hope you had fun at the party girl! I am sure you looked fierce and made all the boys go crazy! Maurdan--I hear ya ANY bakery is (or was) my downfall! I am actually starting not to miss my bagles!

Hey all...ugh..that is just all I can say! The judge was a complete a$$ and made me feel like crappy poo..... He yelled at me and basically told me that I suck. I am excused from Jury Duty because I am a college student. I was supposed to turn in something that proved I was in school, so yes I messed up. But he totally came down on me very hard and told me I needed to rethink college because based on the fact I couldn't send in the form, I am not going to do well after school! Can you believe that sh*t????? I was excused but he made me feel worthless...glad power didn't go to his head... Everyone thought I would be in jail to because I mouth off...I wish I had. I think it would have been worth it... BUT on the positive....I got a fill today....total weight loss is now 86 lbs. I lost 16 lbs in 6 weeks! I got .50 ccs today so now I am up to 2.75. Taking it easy! How is everyone else today??

I gained like 10 pounds from the time I got my date until the REAL pre op diet. I ate all the things I knew I would never eat again like they were going out of style! It's ok, we all do it!

I was the EXACT opposite of fat growing up! I was always a VERY skinny girl, and at 12 got into modeling where you can NEVER be skinny enough. I developed Bulima there, and my problems with food began....

Ariel I agree about those freaking lecture hall classes. I dropped one the semester before I got the band. It was just too humiliating trying to squeeze my a$$ in, and then god forbid if someone needed to get in or out....ugh...
