Lee don't give it a 2nd thought about starting a firestorm. We enjoy this kind of stuff. Even though you have not heard it I've heard Liz & Robin talk about this group and how we do what we want. Liz told me that at my case mgr appt. Tina they must go from one extreme to the other. Nobody checks on me weekly or monthly. It will be 3 months in between my fill which I think is crazy. Even when Robing was calling right after my surgery she was so quick and off the phone I couldn't get into it. Hang in there Pat & Tamra it's a struggle I know I was hungry where you are too. I can;t say it get better because I think Im just used to eating more than a 1/2 cup....

So I played hookie from work today...did a lot of running around TJ's, Ross, wally's. Got home just before the rain started again. So did you see Dr OZ? recap....Carnie was an alcoholic, gained 70 lbs after her baby & RNY blah blah. Dr OZ had her "start over" 2 things I need to do 1. 10,000 steps a day & 2. basic meals. He said to pick 2 breakfast, 2 lunch & 2 dinners and rotate those to get back on track. Maybe I should try that? If you saw it how long does this last? couple weeks? Oh Carnie has a reality show too. has anybody seen it?

hey hey I'm here....just getting home. There are 3 people in my office preggers so we had a baby shower. Good thing I've had the ol snip snip cuz there must be something in the water. Candra glad you are coming Friday. Not many rsvp'd but there will be a nice crowd. Let's discuss saturday, I'm game if we can get a carpool together. Pat I know what you mean about the water I can hardly get mine in even now. Nicolie, chili is no last meal....go for something that is off limits post-op (beer and pizza was my choice) oops I wasn't supposed to say that. Welcome Cindy!

ok back from lunch....my boss gave me a gift certificate and a box of see's candie WTF!!! So me being me said "wow candy the last thing I need. hehehe. I guess it was the thought. I have it on my desk for my students. I'm with you Riley, the snacking has got to stop. Where the hell is everybody??? I'm like Candra talking to myself. oh I had the aspargus pork thingy for luch, much more than a cup but no rice so that was good. Perhaps I should do some work? I'm so used to putting out fires that doing something in advance is almost the unthinkable.

Hola everybody.....finally some down time at work. So we are having our staff appreciation luncheon today so I'm just waiting for that. LOL I've already planned to have protien and a little veggies. You know they need to start to think about sending more people to Fremont or opening up somewhere else. That make no sense that I have to wait 3 months. I forgot to welcome the new people. You've found a great group of people with a whole lot of good knowledge. Anything you need to know somebody will have the answer. It's no wonder about Liz. I think she tries to be hard nose in the early stages. I liked her the other day when she spent time talking to me. I'm sure Liz didn't send you here. I remember her telling me that "those girls" do their own thing and bend the rules. basically telling me to not listen to you all. Hey Miss Riley J, I heard that under the covers with that warm man LOL...

Ugh....called kaiser today to schedule my next fill and the next appt for Dr P is March 10th. What the heck am I going to do until then? I'm so pissed. I guess I'll have to call every few days for a cancellation. Oh, and the girl on the phone told me that I HAVE to see Robin 1st. I wish they would get the story straight. I may email Dr P and see what she says. I have no restriction, zero. Ugh...did I say that already?

Hey John, you're talkin my neck of the woods....well sort of. Extended stay Hilltop Marriott Courtyard Hilltop Holiday Inn express - off san pablo dam( closest) are all good. 93 year old party was a hoot... I hope to be that sharp at 93 if I make it. We went to the Buttercup... can't get anymore senior citizen than that. I had the meatloaf w/ gravy since everything I eat has to be wet. Pat that's great you are doing so well with your walking. I think that's the key to being 100% quickly. Tamra how are you doing?

Morning everyone, Wow Reggie that is so scary. I'm glad you are going to see your PCP, hopefully it was just some freak thing. If you do still have the get-together I may try to ride with MO & Ash it will be good to see you. Ok one preach line use this as lesson and jumpstart to getting back on track. I forgot what you said you ate right before but could that be it? Oh, I sent the evite out for my party/happy hour. The girl who sells the body magic wanted to come in case anyone was interested. I'm kinda looking forward to seeing what else they have....just in case :thumbup: I'm so broke but at least I can figure out what I want to save up for. Pat, be careful with that corn is all I'm saying esp. so early after surgery. Better email Dr P about that diarrhea too. Remember I had it and it lasted a couple weeks....She thought I might have an infection so I had to do a sample (a whole nother story) Candra and I in Sacramento kaiser, I've got my itty bitty container that I need to get the sample in, full. And they tell me I'm not in the system. Needless to say between the two of us were able to get rid of that paper bag ROTF LMAO... Turned out to be the kind of antibiotics she gave me during surgery. Point is let her know this too. NIcolie, I was the same way, I wanted everything to be done in advance. I truly thought I was gonna be down for the count for a while, which turned out not to be the case. Lee, let's see what the morning will bring. I may come to Oakland.

Hey Pat, don't know if you know but we aren't supposed to have corn. It doesn't digest....we actually talked about it at the last group meeting with liz. She said it can get stuck in a pocket and stay there. So anyway just in case you didn't know. No Candra no restriction yet. I've been doing good though the last few days with my food. I'm down 3 lbs, I know I need to loose more but I think I'm going to call on MOnday to set up my appt with Dr P. I need a fill, even if it's a couple weeks away. What are you doing tomorrow? It's not supposed to rain so I'm going walking. Any body else? that lives locally? Congats John.... wow this is so great that so many of us are reaching our goals....come on Annalyn, Ash, who else am I missing? Hello ladies, Save the date...I'm having a ladies night/happy hour kind of thing at my house on Friday, 2/5, 6-9pm. Everyone is invited. I live in El Sobrante (actually down the street from the Pinole Kaiser) So if you are in the area and can make it I'd love to have you. Tamra you're taking after Candra making cakes right after surgery. No I didn't feel like making anything I couldn't eat LOL I must say I took the gas x strips and they worked well for me. So you may want to try them since they are at most stores.

wow everyone is back to back that's wonderful. So Lee did you see Liz yet? Who's your surgeon? Ok did good today. I had my salad for lunch and then dinner was a hamburger patty no mayo so I got full right away... I guess that's the plan.
