Hi Analynn, You probably missed the Aug orientation and will go to the one in mid Sept. I think they do them once a month.
-
that protein style in and out sounds so good right now. I guess I'll stick with this chicken leg and the romaine lettuce I brought from home.
-
Tamra step away from the oatmeal....that's like having a carb fest.
-
OMG Candra, I think your boss and my old boss (love saying that since I got my promotion) are brothers. I'm soooooo glad to be rid of him. We are still in the same unit but now I can look at him like the dwebe (sp) he is and walk away. LOL Job is alot of fun but no kids. I really want to weigh myself this evening but I know I'm gonna be all blotted. Maybe I'll go for a lunchtime walk. So who all is doing fills tomorrow? Is this in Pinole?

this has got to be the most commute friendly place there is. We have vanpools that come form all over. My ex boss (yea!!!) in on a van comming from concord. I advertise everywhere. We do 1099's so it doesn't effect unemployment.

Here's my advertisement...PM me if anyone is interested. I took off my contact info. Standardized Patients Needed University of California San Francisco (UCSF) The UCSF School of Medicine is seeking male and female actors, all ages and ethnicities to participate in various role-play situations throughout the year. Participants will be paid for training and performance - $22/hr. This is an ongoing program and work days range from 3-5 hours. What is a standardized patient? Standardized Patients are healthy people who are trained to play the role of a patient suffering from a specific medical condition. Medical students interview and perform basic physical exam maneuvers (taking blood pressure, measuring pulse rate, listening to heart and lungs, etc.) on Standardized Patients during examinations to demonstrate a student’s mastery of basic clinical and interview skills. Students are graded on both their medical knowledge (Are they asking the right questions to arrive at an appropriate diagnosis?) and their bedside manner (Can they treat patients with sensitivity and respect?) If interested, and would like to be in our pool of actors please email your headshot, resume and age to me:

Morning all, Now that I only have like 14 more days of work I'd better get something done. I need to hire for all our programs through October yikes (about 42 people) of which I have about 10. Tamra the meeting usally ends a little early so folks can weigh in so you sould be out of there by 7:30 for sure. I have my usual atkins shake for breakfast...I know drinking my cal but it sure help with the weight loss. Pam what are you going to do to Celebrate your bandivesary? I say go out and buy a sexy dress and wear it to class the next time you help out. Flirting is always a feel good:tt1:.

ok 10:30 I better get to bed. Candra & Tamra I'll see you tomorrow 5:45 ish.

I know I need to write my stuff down. Even the stuff everyone told us today, didn't write anything down and I sure I can't remember anything if I don't write it down.
-
is it the why kids are fat? I'm going to tape it. I won't be up at 1am LOL Today I was looking at the calendar at work and if you count the days I'm taking off for the holiday I only have 2 more weeks. Really shines a whole other light on things for me. I've got so much to prepare for. I want to pick up everything I'll need. I got the viactive and flinstones the other day but that's it.
-
I 2nd that... although I'm not on FB very much but I'm getting better LOL
-
oh I wasn't saying he was married, I was just giving an example of how signals get crossed. Just take it slow, as long as you aren't expecting anything you won't get disappointed. That's always been my safety net, not that it's always worked for me though.
-
I heard about the Pess Pause book... Actually I think it was Donna who told me LOL Pam if he keeps dropping hints I'd say something. Guys have a way of pulling your string until you call them on it. At least be koi and ask about a significant other just to see his reaction. If it were me and my track record he'd be married.
-
hanging out after would be cool to if you guys have time. I know you can't eat, but since you'll be in the neighborhood
-
Candra, you're probably right about the time. I'm too lazy to get up off my butt and check the card. Yea at the meetings everyone shows their scars etc so we can see the handy work. LOL I've heard of beck diet...maybe I should look it up. I guess I'll need to get some reading material for after surgery. I wonder how many people are at the meeting are they just people getting the surgery the next week?
-
Candra, we may be able to get some info tomorrow at group. I don't know about the 3rd week but at the 1st week there are quite a few bandsters.
-
I was going to bring my daughter but she may not come we'll see. She's taking the 16th off to take me to surgery. I don't want her to miss too much school. But one of you can be my support person That would be so cool. I think the appt card says 8:30am
-
I know this is in the binder but when it is the liquid stage before surgery? or just after?
-
well as you can see from my dates I was on the slow boat in the beginning...plus I was still contemplating. but I'm glad I made up my mind and stuck with it.
-
Tamra I just noticed you are more than half way to your goal WOW! time goes fast.
-
I've been using decaf green tea when I can't stand it anymore. But I'm wondering what I'm going to do once I have surgery. I've tried benifiber and it did nothing for me.
-
oh Tamra, I meant to comment on that earlier. I am have a heck of a time. I don't use it unless I drink some green tea or something. It's driving me nuts. Like today, I feel like a sasuage! I think it's all the protien.
-
Did someone say they had a CPAP? Liz told me they won't do the surgery unless I bring mine. I'm still at the stage of yanking mine off in the middle of the night. So I told her I sometimes freak with it and would not want to have a panic attack from the CPAP on top of the surgery but she wasn't buying it.

I'm full of smart remarks so I'm sure I'll have tons that day. laughing is my only defense.
