thanks again for the info! you have been so helpful! what kind of myshy foods are you eating? i bet you will lose some weight once your stomach has gotten used to the mushy foods. you were on liquids before and now you're on mushy foods, so you're stomach is probably just getting used to it.

Hi,
Congrats on your success!! If you don't mind sorry if many people have asked you this.... What do you eat daily? Like meal plan? and also how much exercise do you incorporate into daily life? I want to hit the ground running!!! Thank you sooo much!!

Hello,
Okay so now I feel restriction but not so much that I can only eat a few bites. I felt not hungry at all and not wanting to eat anything during the first week. Now I feel full wayyyyyy sooner than before the band but its not where I can only eat a little bit. Hopefully, when I get my fill I will be at a more desirable restriction. Hope that helps! Don't worry you won't want to eat through the band. The only thing that sucks is that now that I'm on mushy foods I've stopped losing weight... and I'm eating not even a 1/4 of what I used to eat so I'm not sure why that is..... weird.

Hi - me again
Another question for you. I just read a thread on "not feeling any restriction" and how it takes a few fills until you feel restriction. Did you/are you going through that? Are you feeling any restriction? I'm worried that I will over eat after my band is in if I won't even feel the restriction until months later. This is discouraging.
Thanks,
Marie

Hey there.... ok once you start eatting solid food again the weight loss will slow down its only natural... that is when you need to start excersing and begin a routine!! I work out 6-7 days a weeks ( i have a trainer and i walk 4 plus miles a day).... you are suppose to lose 1-2 lbs a weeek that is a healthy rate!! Everyones body works different so dont compare yourself to much to others you will on get discouraged!! You are doing great trust me!!!

Hello!
I really love your pics... Looks like you are having great progress.... I got banded on May20th and have lost 11lbs since the surgery but I'm very concerned because I've stopped losing weight since I've been doing puree. If you don't mind what was your diet, exercise plan after surgery?!!! I really want to do the same thing as people who have had good success I'm willing to do anything at this point because I want to lose as much weight as possible!! Thanks so much for your help! ttyl

Hello again,
Actually the first week after surgery I was on liquids and didn't feel hungry at all to eat much. I just wanted to get in my protein shakes . As time passes and a week goes by I started to get hunger pains again and then I went onto puree. I'm not sure what you doctors diet is... but I would follow what information they give you. I didn't get headaches... I was tired and weak though. I'm just a little irritated because ever since I started puree I haven't lost anymore weight so that was my main concern. The medication they gave me was liquid loritab which is Hydrocodone.... Feel free to ask anymore questions!

Thanks for writing back! I definitely expected pain and discomfort after the surgery. I'm glad I can talk to people on here to find out what I should really prepare myself for as far as the pain goes. What is it like for you with having just liquids after? Did you feel hungry? Did you get a headache? Was it hell? When I don't eat when I'm hungry, I get a massive headache, that's what I'm fearing right now. I think I can take my surgery wounds, but my headaches, I am not sure about. What type of pain medication do they put you on? Anyway, I think that's all of my questions for the day (LOL!), I'm sure I'll come up with more.
Thanks!
