Hey morning freckles - the way it was explained was that ti turns to gel and contuinues to expand... hence the band doesn't likei. HOWEVER I did have a day where I got my fibrogel ready and got side tracked and came back and that sh*t had clean set i the glass!? turn it upside down and no movement - must have taken a bit of time though - so wuold guess it gets through your band in liquid form first right? Guess the risk it DOESN'T go through band first is what the problem could be... hence stretching your pouch... HEY HO glad it's working for ya lovely - know the feeling and it sucks the big fat kumara! PS How do you change your ticker - new one every time we lose weight? hmmm n x -

Freckles - what a beauuuuuuuuuuuuuutiful wee Grandadughter you have - she truly is a sweetie. Also - I got told (when I admitted I was) taking Fibrogel - Wendy @ WLS GASPED loudly and said "NOOOOO NOt fiborgel VERY BAD"! I was like - ohhh, ok, sorry... So I've been on prune juice ever since... as I explained last time :frown:(Evacuation procedures etc) Garry - pleased all went well and recovery is going even better... I just thought I'd let you all know - for 2 years I have been under an osteopath for shoulder pain (as I fractured them both in my teens with sport) So after having been on the forum - I have just discovered - I HAVE TRAPPED WIND - are you KIDDING me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2 friggin years!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sammy - Congrats on the pregnancy - 2 under 2 nice you'll burn calories in no time :w00t: Freckles - Dear god you make me laugh woman - only cause I totally sympathise - that prune juice is a killer - when I run for the toilet my husband knows it'll all be over in 2 secs, so no line for the toilet - he calls out - "EVACUATION IN PROGRESS - PLACES PLEASE"... he thinks i may come through the bathroom floor into the livingroom one day with the sheer G forces he reckons I create - ANYYYY WHOOOO... Flirty - hope you're recovering ok :smile2: BIRTHDAYS - HAPPY BIRTHDAY..... All being banded this week - GOOD LUCK hope it goes well Beeboo - MY GOD I was gonna do the plates as well - lucky I didn't! Would guess it could move the band?? Bollocks - back to the EA Sports I been doing ok - i got 14 kilos today so I'm pleased... Got me fat girl knickers on - so soup at lunch today Hope all are well love, niki xoxoxo -

Eh up beeboo... NB i'm not a northerner - I'm actually a kiwi but I like the northerners here and their accents :w00t: Habit of a lifetime - YEP! That it is! Me too!! Good days/ bad days - Some days the same thing that was a problem the day before - is gone in seconds the next... it's learning that's all... I seem to be one of those children that challenges things  But it's all good - EA Active and Wii Hula hooping are my new BFF's! I agree about the inches - Last time I came down - I lost 14 Kilos and only one dress size - wth?? and then this time I lost 10kg but 2 full dress sizes - so yeh - the inches matter... I still find when having to buy new clothes (on the 1/2 price at ge-or-ge = that's george with a french accent) right now I still go for things that LOOK like they'll fit as opposed to what really does. I still look in the mirror and see fat me - I wonder when that will ever change - and think my god - I've come so far but I'm still a heffa WTH!!!... just having a bad day I guess... It's hard to put in perspective - and when Wendy told me my goal weight last fill I thought she was taking the p*ss!? hey ho... Everyone on here is such an enormous inspiration... It keeps you or gets you back on track... I'm hoping I get proper restriction soon - whatever that is??? I wish I knew! We're going to Florida in sept so apparently I'll have some out for that... thansks for listening to me ramble - it's nice to know - even without repsonse - you know people care and are listening... Thanks guys niki x -

If i'm good I'm really good but when I'm bad I'm horrid!"£$% Freckles - they is well much higher than Cowell pants!?! these babies pull right up and touch the twin peaks!!! Should see me getting them on!? Like a hippo ballerina demi plea'ing up and down!? still - it works  Garry - hope it goes well today FILL ON SATURDAY in London YAY!!!!! EH up Beeboo - glad it gave ya a giggle... I swear i nearly died at work... all my normal foods (crispbread with primula) came all back up again (sorry for the graphic :skep:)!! I know my band varies after each fill - it's like a learning curve every 2 weeks right now Ainsley harriets soups ROCK! I aint giving up on my skinny girl pants though, they make my 2 fat rolls look like one slightly smaller one! RESULT! Cup-a-Soups with skinny girl pants is a small compromise niki x -

Evening all... I have a quick question for all the bridget jones, nip tucking, waist sinching, massive knicker wearing ladies - when wearing said knickers has anyone had any further restriction? Had mine on at work on friday and struggled with all solids - ended up with cup a soup... got home took them off and was no problem... anyone else had this?? it actually was the husband who pointed it out - I thought i had something stuck... thanks :tongue2: Niki x -

Hey Garry - I believe - as my husband spoke to his wife - whilst we moaned about drinking the chalk for x-ray band was "leaking" and said to be faulty... Dr C was going to return the band to France (where it had come from) and ask for a full refund - now what that meant in the way of cost to the patient I dont know - I assume the band had started leaking but also come undone. Husband also mentioned they were looking at giving him unlimited free fills/ unfills to make up for past fills paid for - I dont actually know the full outcome - just that they were trying to "arrange" a fair intermediate agreement - have to say thought the gentleman did look like he was not willing to budge on any further cost but was extremely pleasant, polite and reserved the whole way through... I also got the feeling that if given a little Dr C/ Fred would take a mile… So he looked as if he was standing his ground on Dr C... from my point of post surgery view... N -

Hello all ODGE Modge - I'm in London for a fill on 1st August with Wendy... dunno when you were referring to though... anyone else up for a fill in London on 1st? garry - sorry to hear about your band - There was a lovely guy who was at the hospital when i was banded - coud not for the life of me work out why he was being banded, as he looked perfeectly slim and healthy - then learned the next day he had been banded but it had never worked - (although he had lost 6 stone - mostly based on will power obviously) and we all got to see the conversation on cost and who was repsonsible the next day - in our follow up meeting... belive it had come undone as he had fill after fill after fill... Glad to hear flirty is doing so damn well! niki x -

Hey wishfull... getting there - was a bit disappointed that I did feel that way as so many people said they felt fine the next day. I did have to have a blood transfusion so that could also add to it. I feel ok with paracetemol. Port site is the only one that really hurts. We drove to and from Belguim and I'm really pleased, it worked out well - on the ferry back there was 50 or so American tourists and hundreds of mini drivers heading for Silverstone - the bruises look pretty bad on me because of the transfusions and numerous blood tests etc - so both arms have numerous large bruises, forearm, back of arm... The american tourists kept looking at me and shaking their heads in pity... it was funny actually... how they assumed they knew everything. 5 weeks - you must be so excited!! Dr Chris said I'd feel this way so I feel better - just disappointed I wasn't one of the lucky ones who got to be fine quickly ... it'll happen. I'm booking my first fill for 4 weeks... n x -

My restricton came away today - was quite surprised as i didn't eat anything for the first 2 days as such... now I felt hungry for the first time. Thanks for the arnica tips also - i look a little like an addict right now - and on the trip home got looked at a lot like - "what did you do????"... lol... any suggestions for newly banded bander for food in the first 2 weeks??? or did everyone just stick to slim fast and cup a soup?? thanks  n -
