Dr. Robert Pinnar - LOVE Dr. Pinnar's Office
Loving-It replied to blackhawkhunnie's topic in Weight Loss Surgeons & Hospitals
I was banded by Dr. Robert Pinnar's son, Eric. He left his father's office and let me tell you, because of Sue and Paul, I transferred myself to Dr. Robert's office. After you are banded you don't see the surgeon that much, but the support staff is phenomenal! Paul does the fills and Sue is in the office for your check-ups/weigh in. I love them both more than I can even say! I live in Dale City, VA (about 40 miles each way) and would travel twice as far to Reston to see Paul and Sue. The office is excellent and well worth the drive. NOTE: I am not knocking Dr. Robert Pinnar, he's amazing as well! :-) -
I think that "I'm Loving It" is used in the commerical because it sounds better when sung....sang....singed? It sounds better with the jingle.

Co-worker oddballs? Nightmares? Dreams come true?

:pound: Oh the fun you could have. Slide the boxes just ever so much closer to her desk, making her space smaller and smaller. :couch2: -

I work with a woman who is really out of her mind. She walks around chirping like a monkey and actually is quite hostile. She has issue with everyone and is not the friendliest of people to talk to. She actually made up a lie (which she told to my boss) that we were in the bathroom, and I came out of a stall looking ill. She said she asked if I was okay and that I went off on her telling her to mind her own business and whatnot. I hadn't even seen her that day. In the years I've been here, everytime she's been nasty I've been nothing but friendly but the one time she's nice to me I go off? My boss thought it was ridiculous and blew her off, not before telling the owner what was going on. She's still here but apparently has a history of being aggressive. :couch2: One place I worked there was a manager who would lock herself in her office. She would not answer the door, she would not answer the phone. You could tell she was in there because cigarette smoke was coming out from under the door. Several times we had to go outside and knock on the window telling her to open the damn door. :help: I quit the office not long after but I heard rumor that she had an affair with another employee, went on vacation and never came back. :heh: In the same office we had one man call in sick on Friday, came in over the weekend to retrieve his personal items and then quit via phone on Monday. When they went into his office he had all kinds of papers that he was supposed to have done things with, purchase orders and expense reports, that he'd just stuck in a drawer. Rather than admit he didn't know what to do with them he just filed them away. I worked with one girl who would register on all these hook up sites. She's meet guys for "lunch" in the middle of the day for nooners, and she always came back with some money. I won't say she was being paid for services but, well, er, uh...okay, she was being paid for her services. Heh-heh! :heh: We had some guys come in from out of town and we had gotten them a rental car which they were to drive from work to their hotel and back again. They were out cruising at like 2 in the morning when they pulled into a gas station so this one guy could use the bathroom. While this guy was in the RR, the other 2 fellows bought some drugs from *cough* an undercover police officer in the gas station parking lot. They were arrested, booked and then released. The next morning they called and said they needed another rental car. We asked them what happened to the one we gave you? That's when they sort of said what happened, but the jist was the rental was in the impound. We sent the two guys home and I do believe they were fired. They were from New York. :biggrin1: I haven't had any issues with hygiene, thankfully. :clap2: -
recipes web site, but the actual recipes don't seem to contain any nutrition info. But just the same, I'm pretty good at being able to tell if the ingredients are any good for me or not. :couch2: Enjoy! :biggrin1:

You can already do that. If you go into the persons profile who you want to ignore, it's at the top. -
Good luck! :clap2: My mom joined Weight Watchers and has done very well. :biggrin1:

I had a co-worker who had those rings and she had her teeth whitened in the dentists office. It was a huge difference! She didn't have any idea that they could do it until he offered. Granted her teeth weren't pearly white but compared to what they were, it was amazing! That's great the strips are working. I've always wanted to try something but am a big chicken. :biggrin1:

Congrats to your wife on her band!! :clap2: What my doctor told me, and I've seen the pics, is that you can pop the sutures holding the band in place before scar tissue develops over it and her band could slip, if you eat regular food too soon. She should go back to mushies if that's what her doctor wants her to do. Just tell her it's not forever, just until she's fully healed. :biggrin1: She can do it!! :clap2:

Well I suck! LOL! :biggrin1: I didn't take a picture of anything. Me so sorry. :cry The main thing I did over the weekend was clean DD's room. After a whole summer of not paying any attention we battled that hole and got it cleaned out. She had school papers and random notes all shoved under her bed. We found some clothes she thought were missing under the bed and behind her recliner. We also found socks and underwear (clean) in the box that holds her Barbie furniture. So we trashed what we could and then trashed a little bit more. Got rid of a lot of stuff...three garbage bags full! I was so happy! She put all her clothes away. I had bought her school clothes a few weeks ago but haven't let her touch it so it's been in the bag in another room. She's quite organized and I give it a week. LOL! :biggrin1: Nah, my baby is growing up and I think she'll keep it clean. She was quite proud. :clap2: It was a mess though. I had no idea it had gotten that bad. :welldoneclap:

Have you thought of water aerobics? That would be low impact for you since you need to be careful of your knees/ankles. :welldoneclap:

I don't have much to add, I think it's all been said, just wanted to give ya a hug. (((Sue))) :sleep

Don't worry about the weight loss part of it right now. You are healing, and besides you have lost some weight already. Congrats for that!! :clap2: :clap2: When I switched to mushie I ate cream of wheat. On the side of the box they have a recipe for making it for babies. That's what I had. That whole serving I ate and it was more than enough. I got some I Can't Believe It's Not Butter spray, and sprayed each bite. I like my cream of wheat with butter and salt, but after 2 weeks of liquids that stuff was like filet mignon!! LOL! :welldoneclap: I also blended any kind of soup I could get my hands on. Lentil soup, wedding soup, anything. I also blended baked Beans. I didn't suffer any additional gas problems, at least none that I noticed. :rolleyes :biggrin1: Good luck and congrats again! You're doing very well! :clap2:
