Well i've been looking at what i've been eating and i think my problem is convenience food. i don't have that much imagination when it comes to small meals so anybody out there have some idea's. i love salad but i find ham salad or cheese or egg with it boring. plus at the moment its snowing so comfort food is all i seem to want. As I work a lot of nights as well i always seem to take a sandwich and a 100 calorie bag of crisps and a small choccy bar and that does me. HELP!!!!!! lol -

Totally agree with you Gillian I use WLS and always have because they are right for me and I'm 100% happy with them. I too would never tell anyone who to have their aftercare with as everones experiences are different and personal. -

Hi Happy flower, My friend had her surgery and her port was in the same position as freckles describes. its positioned just below your cleavage almost sternum area. not sure how it attaches but she doesn't seem to have any problems with it there. For the guys thinking of having surgery in Liverpool i don't claim to know much about it so can only share my friends experience but she was banded last year and bought an after care package with them and they have refused to fill her why she losing weight. she has only been losing a couple of pounds which she has done from exercise mainly. think she gutted cause she paid that little bit extra in the uk and doesnt seem to be getting the correct after care. just wanted to put that out there so that all experiences are bought to light. xxx -

Thanks Wannabe, I'll try staying away from carbs, I've been good with lunch and dinner i just cant seem to find quick protein breakfasts and i cant have scrambled egg because i usually have that at lunch as an omelette so any ideas would be great. Also scales dont seem to be moving at all so really confused as i'm not eating half as much as i did before my fill and i'm counting calories on a tracker on my phone and only take in a max of 1200 a day. is this too many? -

Didn't mean to worry anyone, I think those incidents happen when Dr Chris had a different fill doctor working for him. I am talking a couple of years ago. Dr Chris has given a lot of business to WLS because he is so busy so I think they are in a business agreement. plus they do really good packages which half the amount you spend on fills. every one is different and prefer different fill doctors I only wanted to share my experiences sorry. Hi, I have only had one fill with Dr Chris which was my first one, 3 people I Know have always had fills with him and have had problem from pierced ports to over filling. I go to Wendy at WLS and have done for over 2 years although i had a 2 year break between fills. She also does an x-ray fill as well. I never had a problem with the fill Dr Chris gave me I just found that because he is so busy you didnt get time to chat much. Hope this helps Jo xxx -

Hi everyone haven't been on in a while, went for my first fill today in Glasgow, it has been over two years since last one. Wendy put in just over half a ml and said she wouldn't have got anymore in cause of the pressure so that takes my band to 6.2 ml and hopefully I have restriction. I'm stick to soups and yoghurt's now for as long as I can manage without going crazy. havent updated my ticker yet but have 55 lb ish to go. Can't wait to get my weight loss started again. Any healthy meal ideas would be greatly appreciated xxxx -

Hey guys! I totally agree with Bobo! Since my last fill (last tuesday) I have stuck to high protein diet and the scales are moving every day! I only have a few carbs on weekends! I thought this would be hard on me as I love my carbs but find i'm loving it!! Plus what ever my body doesn't need it gets rid of where as with carbs it just stores it as fat! It also fills me up for longer!!!!! -

Hi guys, Hope you all had a good weekend! Well back on solids after 4th fill and think i might have restriction...... or close to it! Today i ate:- 1 egg scrambled, 3 tablespoons of chopped tomatoes chicken noodle soup and 1 muller light 1 lamb crispbake (size of a burger), tablespoon 4 tablespoons veg! I have been fully satisfied all day! It is so true about leaving out carbs and just having protein!!! since i stopped having Cereal for Breakfast i have been full till lunch!!! -

Hi homecare! I have had had 4 fills now. 3ml then 1.6ml then 0.5ml then 0.5 mls Just had some srambled egg and tinned tomatoes for lunch and must say i'm really full! i used to have porridge but wendy told me that if i eat carbs i will get hungrier quicker and my body will store what i don't use as fat! where as if i eat protein i will stay satisfied for longer and whatever my body doesn't need it will get rid of instead of storing it!!!! So I am just going to stick to fish and chicken and eggs and cheese and fruit and veg! i'm going to have some carbs but only twice a week!!! Hopefully this will work! -

Hi guys! Well i spoke to my nurse today and she said 2 of my scars are over granulated which means the heal on the outside instead of the inside so they are bumpy!!!!:sneaky: Also having real problems with my hair falling out it doesn't show but it just won't grow!!!! So i went to holland and barrett and bought some high strengh silica complex which should help!!!!! Doctor also gave me some lactulose today so no more stool problems for me!!!!! Hope everyone is well!!!! Jo x -
