Hi Peeps! Hope your all having a great weekend!! My Op is in 8 days I Can't Wait!!!!! This time next week i'll be in belgium dribbling over my last meal!!!! LOL I've started my multi vits and milk Thistle so all is good! Have a bit of a cold though so hope that clears up soon! Any last minute advice would be great! Jo xxx

Hi Fatpants, You said that you go to edinburgh for your fills? any chance of some info on that as I live in Elgin and have no idea where my nearest place is for fills! i get banded in just over a week and need to book one asap!!!! If you could help that would be ace! Thanx Jo x

Hey wishfull! I'm off into town tomorrow to get my milk thistle tablets!!! what other vitamins do i need to get so i can get them as well! I'm also going to get the dressings for my wounds! Anything else you can think of would be a great help!!! don't want to forget anything!!! Jo x

Morning all! 13 days till op:thumbup: Gettin some milk thistle tablets tomorrow as well! My mate swears by them he says they are great for hangovers too!!!! Not that i'll be getting anymore of them! Think the whole internet is quiet because the weather is starting to get better and people want to go out and enjoy it:sad: Not good for us though that check in every day i want to read new stuff and advice!!!! Hey Peeps, 14 days to go so started pre op today!!!! Did ok i think shredded wheat for breakfast, home made fish cake with new pots and salad for lunch and chicken breast and salad for tea!!!! think i'm going to need milk thistle though as won't be too healthy at weekends cause got lots of meals and drinks planned before op!!!!! I think that is my downfall with food and drink the moment i start drinking i don't want to eat anything but might have to force myself plus my husbands mate is cooking lots of curry and stuff for tomorrow yum yum that should gain a few pounds! Going to need it don't want bmi to drop below 35 or i'm screwed!!!!!! Jo x

Hi Guys, Well off out tonight for my last drinking binge with the girls before my pre op diet starts on tuesday!!! going to try and put a few pounds on this weekend as my weight has drop a bit since booking band and my bmi is now 36!!!! Arrrrrgh Hope everyone has a good weekend!!!! Jo x

You'll be fine hun! are you going alone? My sis is comin with me we are gettin done same day! try and read as much of this forum as poss it really helps! i'm going to start a notebook tomorrow with all hints and tips and things to remember so i won't forget! been told it helps!!!! Jo x :tongue:

Flirty, What do you mean by having to cover your arms? Is there a lot of loose skin with this weight loss? Hope not don't think i could afford to pay out another wad of cash for skin tightning!!!! I'll just have to walk round like that guy out of fantastic 4!!!!! LOL :rolleyes2:

Thanks chick! Bet you were really dissapointed the first time round! What do people mean by restriction? I'm probably being thick! I'm really looking forward to my band but 2 weeks and 6 days seems like miles away! Do you have any tips for the pre op diet as i hate slim fast!!!! Jo x

I would have this op again if i had to, thats how much confidence I have in it chick, and I've had it done twice. If you don't mind me asking, Did it not work the first time? x

Hey, did anyone watch the hospital last night!!! didn't seem to have much positivity about it!!!! especially the girl who got banded! She said she wouldn't do it again! does everyone feel like that or was it just her! I'm getting banded in just over 2 weeks so could do with lots of info!!!!! Especially want to know about fizzy pop and smoking post band!!!! Anyone help? Jo x :smile:

Hey freckles, Thanks for the info on the alcohol thats a relief cause i like to have a drink on a friday with the girls! Not to bothered about the other days!!!! What do you mean about missing smoking? Is that a voluntary thing or do we have to quit once banded!!? Woke up this morning with only 3 weeks to go but it still feels like a life time away! I'm not nervous just really excited!!!! Has anyone had any problems with hair loss???? I don't want to mine! Does anyone have fills done at edinburgh as ithink that is my closest place to go??? Hey I'm having band surgery with chris on may 12th and wondered if i could join the facebook group!!!! My name is Jo Henson... my facebook pic is of just me!!! My Big sis is Tee-bird so having it done with her!!!! What are the rules on alcohol after the op as well is it a complete no no !!!! i'm so excited! I have 7 stone to lose i think Hope it doesn't take to long!!!!
