Hey guys YAY me last injection today:thumbup: Thats good freckles i might have a glass of wine this weekend then!!!! Feeling better today no wind and wounds no longer tender!!!!! Sneezed yesterday and god it hurt but sneezed today and didn't hurt hope everyting is ok! I'm just hoping its the swelling going down!!!!!:laugh:

yes belgium is an hour ahead!!!! i also want to know about the drink thing as woul love a glass of wine next week!!! i'll be 10days post op by then

Well you know yourself best chick!!! As long as your ok!!! Surely if your on liquids too long though any restriction you got from your fill in brussels will go without you knowing????

Hey chick maybe you should have an appointment at wls and tell them the situation!!! theywillbe able to tell what is in your band and advise you. fred and dr chris were vague after all!!!!!

Ah well i was good and just had chicken soup and then custard for after!!!! But it went down too well i ate the whole tin and half a bowl of custard!!!! Didn't have any problems and was worried my band had slipped cause it felt normal but i have wind again now and can feel the band so all is good!!! Think it was just cause it was creamy thats why it went down well!!!! :smile:

Hi Carriejess All i have been having is yoghurt, soup and crispbreads with either marmalade or cream cheese on!!!! Just getting bored now!!!!

Thats not anything i can help with i'm afraid freckles as being a new bander haven't had a fill yet! Maybe you have been over filled a little as not being able to drink is a bit worrying! Try ring freddy as he will tell you whats best! Plus its very quiet on here this morning! i think people are out enjoying the weather!!! Don't suppose you could give me advice on my predicaments????? Hey devonpilgrim, Good luck today, try and book the campanille hotel as that is where the consultation is!!! Unless you have booked the package (they put you in the campanille anyway) About the weight loss everyone is different! I was banded on tuesday and have now lost my first stone!!!!:rolleyes2: I'll expect it might slow down a bit for me soon but as soon as i am well enough i will be going to the gym to help me on my way!!!!! They say all your weight should be off in a year!!! If you have any other queries just let us know!!!! Jo x

well I've done really well since the op! I was the last into surgery that day and the first out of bed!!! ( there was no way i was weeing in bed with a bed pan!!) Since i have left the hospital i haven't had any painkillers but i wouldn't advise going back to work for at least a week as your wounds are still a bit tender! The more sleep you get post op the better you feel i found!!! I took two and a half weeks of work post op but will probably go back tuesday after back hol as will definatley be ready then!!! Everyone recovers at different rates chick so you will just have to judge it once you have been banded as your the only one who will know what you can do and your limits!!!! Jox

Hey Banders have a few questions I was banded on tuesday and its now sunday!!! I've been on liquids but as of yesterday i have been getting hungrier and hungrier and liquids are going down easy now! Do you think i will be able to add scrambled egg and weetabix drenched in milk and stuff???? If not when shall i wait till!!!! Also are the socks 5 days aswell? Can they come off when you stop injections!!! When can i start having a bath!!! Jo xxx

Hey homecare, When you arrive on the 25th the hotel check in is at 4pm but they are very good and will probably let you in earlier!!! frederick did our consultation at 9pm as a group and then came to our individual rooms straight after for the money and any questions we might have!!!! We had our last supper at 7pm because the restaurant shuts at 10pm and it was pushing it by the time we finished with fred!!!! Once we finished with Fred it was to the bar for a couple of last drinks then bed by 12pm as from then on it will be nil by mouth!!!! If you need anything else just ask!!!:rolleyes2: Jo x

Hey chick, The milk thistle tablets are really good for your liver and help to keep it clean of fat!!!! I took them religiously before the op because i didn't really do a preop diet:sneaky: Cambridge diet is also very good for losing weight quickly!! if you research it online you will find your nearest provider! Also Lighter life is brilliant although very strict and about 60 pounds a week but i lost 13 pounds in my first week on it and 8 pounds in my 2nd week! The net will also give you all the info for it!!!! Let us know how you get on!!!! Jo x

Just woke up my wind pain has settled and only seems to be there when i'm hungry!!! weighed my self this morning and i am now 16st 4 and was 17st 2 last week!!!!:grouphug: Off out for the day but will be back on tonight!!!!

Hi, I felt exactly the same as u! I to am 5ft 7 and weighed 17st! I had my surgery on tuesday and there were no problems! He has a very high sucess rate and is very professional!! one of the best in his field!!! any problems you have or worries someone here will answer as they have all been through it to!!!

Well me and flirty will arrange something with Garry and then tell everyone else that can make it to Glasgow!!!! I've been really positive anyway not had any nerves. They took my blood pressure and heart rate just before surgery and they were perfect so really pleased it went well!!! Dr Chris did say we couldgo with other after care groups as long as they are reputable!!!! He told us all the day after surgery what size our bands were but that is because we asked him!!!!

That would be great!!!! I phoned julie tosh today and have first fill booked for 25th june but think that is going to be too long!!!! So I thought I would see when i could get in with wls!!!! Was only going to stay with dr chris for first fill anyway out of respect but don't know if i can wait that long!!!!

Just my port one hurts a little but has only just started to hurt!!!! The first wound above my belly button kept bleeding a little but hopefully that has stopped now!!!! Other than that all seems ok!!!!!!

Also does anyone know of a good number for wls group!!! does anyone go to them in glasgow??? Think i will book first fill with Dr chris then go to them after!!! just thinking it might save me money!!!!

Mum bought me some crispbreads today with low fat cream cheese and that seems to be going down well at the moment!!!! Managed to get ticker working but does anyone have any idea how i can update it?????

Sounds great fun!!!! I managed 2 petit filous for breakfast this morning!!!! Have a bit of gas pain too but overall i'm just really tired still!!!! Good luck to all you newbies I was one of them a couple of weeks ago and can safely say i don't regret a thing!!!
