To answer one of your questions about has anybody regret the lap band, yes I did but my situation was different I guess. I could not handle the object in my body n it caused me very bad panic attacks. My Dr said this only happens to a certain % n I happen to be n that %. So I put up with it for ten months on anxiety med n I lost about 30 lbs n I could not take it anymore n so I had it taking out.

Thanks Tiffany, The nurse practioner had me come into the office today to try n calm me down n she did. They got my Dr to call in some anxiety med n that has helped but I'm still wanting it out n If I could I would have it out now. She said that medicaid want pay for it unless there is a good reason n I think me flipping out is a good enough reason. lol, It might be phsycological but it's very real to me, so they told me to wait until monday n see how I feel n I told them if I got to go bankrupt I will get this out of me, I just feel awful because Ive wanted this for 8 yrs n I'm afraid I'm putting our family in finacial hardship if medicaid does not pay for it, so I'm just gonna give it some time n be thinking of ways I can get this out without it costing so much. Thanks so much for talking with me, it's helped to no I"m not the only one out here like this not wanting an object in my body:)
