That's awesome! I wish I could get excited about working out....I just can't do it. I always don't wan't to, but I usually just do it, anyway. I hate slogging through my workouts. The only thing I really do enjoy is walking outside if the air is cool and fresh, or riding my bike, but I still can't ride my bike very long, although it is getting a little better every time I ride.

What Books Are You Reading Now?

I actually own almost every book by SK in hardback. However, I think it would be silly to rip anyone's head off for their preference in authors. I enjoy a great many authors, he just happens to be my favorite. I also really enjoy anything by Robert McCammon (Boy's Life, Swan Song) He has a similar writing style to SK, except without King's dark humor, which never fails to crack me up. :girl_hug:

    Airplane Flight

In my case, it was left up to me, but make sure you're off your prescription pain meds and that you can twist around to look behind you to back up...

    Delayed Restriction from Fill

Ditto, why DOES this happen??? I'm not questioning that it does, I believe it does, because I'm feeling my last fill of May 30 more now than I did the next day....but I am questioning WHY???

LOL, I bet you'll be surprised to find that you didn't gain any...I think a splurge once in a blue moon doesn't hurt us as badly as we think. Even though it makes us feel like total dogs#!t, physically, for awhile afterward. 30 minutes down for today! 15 to go! I want a bodybugg or an actitrainer SO bad I can taste it....I want positive reinforcement and immediate feedback to see how I'm doing...

    Airplane Flight

No problems getting through security, and you don't need an unfill before flying. If you're still not sure, call your doc! Hope you're flying somewhere fun! Happy Travels!

What Books Are You Reading Now?

Ok, I'm going to be different.... I LOVE anything by Stephen King.... Right now I'm reading "Shoot the Moon" by Billie Letts, "Predator" by Patricia Cornwell, "Life Expectancy" by Dean Koontz. I usually have 4 or 5 books going at any one given time, I can't get enough, plus I commute 30 minutes to work, so I listen to books while I'm driving. Passes the time, and I can hardly stand listening to the radio anymore. Thank goodness the library has a decent selection of books on CD!

Not feeling so great -what do you think?

Many of us find that we're a bit tighter when it's that time of the month. Fluids are a good idea the rest of the day. It WILL happen again (maybe not for a long time, though), even though we think we've learned our lesson, and swear that we won't ever let that happen again, inevitably, we revert back to our old habits and eat either too fast, or too much, or we don't chew well enough... Don't beat yourself up too bad over it, and just try to be careful. (((hugs))) Oh, and sometimes...even if you're being diligent, there will be some food that you just cannot handle, no matter how hard you try.... Trial and error...

Zannie, the one with the green lid (the pictured one) is unscented. It really has no smell. You might try it, I don't know how it would do for someone with allergies. Babygrl, you're doing SO great!!!

    Desperately need some help

I think I'd stick with the full liquids for now, it sounds like you might have trouble with even the thin mashed potatoes.... Be careful!

    Desperately need some help

Cindylou, Oh, sweetie! I never saw this thread until just now. What an ordeal! I trust that things are getting better every day? And some stupid people call this the easy way out.... WHATEVER!!! You're in my prayers, girl!

I'm at 30 minutes so far today....My legs are sore from running the last couple of days, so I'm just walking today....back to a little running tomorrow. Babygrl, what's up with your skin?? Try adding another 20 or 30 ozs to the 64 I know you already drink. Can't hurt, if you can manage it, and it might help... Also, I cannot live without my Olay In Shower Body Lotion. After you rinse off the soap from the shower, you put it on, rinse it off, and I haven't bought lotion in almost 2 years, I just use that every day. And I have ALWAYS had dry, flaky skin on my arms and legs, but not anymore! Love, love, love it! Suzanne, Good For You, on your strength training! I try to change it up, so I'm not only walking. I'm even trying some yoga moves, and I'm thinking about trying Pilates....

oh my God -- PB'ing, help please

Also, you were just banded 2 weeks ago....you shouldn't be eating anything that might get stuck yet....what were your surgeon's post-op diet instructions? Were you getting ahead of yourself a little?? I'm not trying to be critical, but you have to be very careful to let your body heal before you move on to solid foods.

oh my God -- PB'ing, help please

Thank goodness that's over! Ok, now, you're probably irritated and swollen, so it's probably a good idea to stick with clear or full liquids for a day or so to let it calm down. Glad you got through it! Sucks, huh?

oh my God -- PB'ing, help please

Hang in there.... Sometimes it just takes time. Walk around, some people think it helps to hold your arms in the air, some people bend over, some will try meat tenderizer or chewable papaya enzyme.... don't try to drink anything, IT WON'T HELP, it will just back things up worse.... spit into a cup or something, don't swallow your saliva, either, that's what the slime is that you're vomiting...... Hope it passes quickly for you...
