    For lunch, I had a Lite Mozarella stick and 1/4 cup of tuna salad on a wasa cracker. I'm off to walk for another 15 minutes now, and then my lunch is over.

    That sounds good, except, I HATE Jello.....is it just Jello Flavored, or are there chunks of Jello in it when it's mixed up? So, I was on vacation the last part of last week, and we're not going to talk about what I put in my mouth....Let's just say, it wasn't very intelligent.... So far today, though, I've had 32 oz of Water, and a 2.8 oz tuna cup (dry tuna), AND, I've got in 15 minutes of exercise already. 45 minutes to go!

    Feb Bandsters July Challenge

    Yes, I did get on the treadmill, but for some reason, every step was causing a stabbing pain in my knee, so I was only able to do 8 minutes. It is better this morning. It must have been a pinched nerve or something. I was up 4 lbs this morning from yesterday morning. It's time for Aunt Flo's visit again, so that's what I'm blaming it on, even though I didn't make the best choices yesterday, and didn't drink nearly enough Water, either. Making up for it today!

    Babygrl!!!! You are looking fabulous! You need to update your before/after pics! I don't see that much difference in my pics yet, so I'm not posting them just yet. I'm off to get on the treadmill, I haven't exercised since Friday.

    Here goes: 1. I can reach to wipe properly now! 2. I don't feel bloated all the time 3. Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, and High Cholesterol all normal WITHOUT meds! 4. I can fit into a booth again! 5. I can go for a walk without back or leg pain 6. I don't get winded as easily 7. I'm not a sweaty mess all day long like before. I'm sure there are a hundred more, but those are the ones off the top of my head.

    Commercials are evil. I'm PMS'ing, and HAD to have some Oreo cookies. Bought the bag of Mini Oreo's, and every time I see the bag, I'm singing the song from the commercials to myself.

    I only got in about 20 minutes of exercise yesterday.... So I'm still at 4 of 20 workouts (60+ min) Today will be better.

    I had 4 white chocolate macadamia nut Cookies last night. CLEAN SLATE------------------ So far today: 10 Triscuit Thin Crisps 100 cal, 2g Protein 1/2 cup cottage cheese 100 cal, 13g protein 1/2 New whey Protein Bullet 88 cal, 21g protein So far, so good.

    I'm right now baking some very lean meatballs to drown in marinara sauce for dinner, and I'll boil up some kind of Pasta for DH, and just eat the meatballs with sauce myself.... I have some low carb ice cream in the freezer for later! Mmmm....

    :cheer2: Go, Zannie, YOU CAN DO IT!!!! Instead of trying to do it all in one big chunk, try going for 15 or 20 minutes at a time, and add it up at the end of the day. Set a timer, and stay with it, unless someone is bleeding, they can wait until you're done...after all, it IS only 15 minutes....YOU are in control, you can MAKE it happen! Get your kiddos involved, too! Give them some exercises that they can do while you're working out.... Jumping jacks, sit-ups, push-ups, just fun stuff that uses up lots of energy! I bet they'd get a kick out of working out with Mom!

    And I just checked the calorie count on that Nachos Bell Grande...... A WHOPPING 770! OMG! I'm going to work out extra hard today. Plus, while perusing their website, I find that they also have a Nachos Supreme, which is less than half the calories of that Bell Grande! I had no idea there was even a difference! Damn IT! If I'd known, I'm sure I'd have been completely satisfied with that, and I wouldn't be sitting here kicking myself now. Well, this is the reason I started this thread. I wouldn't be feeling so guilty about it if I didn't have to 'fess up about it.

    Slept in??? I rolled out of bed at 4:30 this morning. :cool: Oh, well, I get off at 2:30, so it's worth it. I splurged and had a Nachos Bell Grande for lunch. MMMmmm! Finished it all... EEK! Oh, well. It's still WAY WAY less than I'd have had prior to banding.

    I almost fainted when they offered it to us. OT is usually a resounding NO here. When I found out that it would be DOUBLE TIME AND A HALF, I thought, wild horses couldn't keep me away....I don't CARE what holiday it is. I'd work Thanksgiving and Christmas if they offered it!

    I'm working today (double time & a half) but I was supposed to play in a mud volleyball tournament today. I thought I'd be able to get a good workout doing that, the mud is REALLY sticky, up to about the knee, and SO much fun. I was going to count that as my workout today, but since I'm working..... I guess I'll do my standard treadmill/biking to get my workout in today. 15 minutes down, 45 left to go!

    The concert is in Junction City, Kansas.... I'm having trouble finding takers for tonight because everyone already has plans to bbq and then hang out for the fireworks tonight.... :cool: Looks like I may miss it unless I can talk DH into going with me, and he's not a big fan...LOSER! LOL!

    What to Wear After Surgery

    You will be most comfortable in a pair of sweat pants that aren't snug around the middle. Also, take along a shirt to put on after surgery that isn't your Sunday best. You might still be bleeding a bit from the incisions, and you don't want it all over your favorite shirt! Oh, also, if you have a pair of shoes that you can slip on, that would be best, too. You don't want to have to be bending over to tie your shoes for a few days (or several, in my case) after surgery, and it's humiliating to have to have someone else tie them for you... One week and one day to go! Good luck and and here's to wishing you a short and uneventful recovery! BTW, what, exactly is Mahalo? And what else would be good to know for a vacation in Hawaii? I WILL be vacationing there someday, hopefully SOON!!
