Why am I craving chocolate every day?!?!

My grocery store carries them with the cake mixes... They are SO good.

    Trouble with water?

If you lost 5 lbs in 2 days, you could be heading for trouble, since you said that water is a challenge. If you don't stay hydrated, you'll likely end up in the ER with IV fluids. Please go get a slight unfill if this isn't resolved VERY soon.

Why am I craving chocolate every day?!?!

I should put a disclaimer on here about those. For weight loss and good nutrition, those mini warm delights should NOT be eaten on a regular basis. But they're excellent for TOM cravings. I also removed the picture as I decided that was just cruel.... SORRY!

Why am I craving chocolate every day?!?!

If I'm having an intense craving ALA PMS for chocolate, those mini warm delights are only 150 calories, and it's excellent for killing those killer chocolate cravings.

Does cold weather effect a lapband?

Lip breakage - check Frozen snot - check Tongue stuck to padlock - watch "A Christmas Story" for a great example - check Digging out car - check (no ditch digging, so far, knock on wood)

Does cold weather effect a lapband?

You know, I love AZ, I don't know why I don't MOVE there. Oh, yeah, it's the HEAT. YUCK! I want to move somewhere where the lows get down into the high 40's, low 50's, and the highs are around 70-75. Does that exist? (oh, and did I mention I want SUN, and not so much rain?) Am I asking too much? I just want it to be good for my stoma...

Does cold weather effect a lapband?

~flipping the bird to Wasa, and Aubrie~ I'm in Kansas, and we're looking forward to more ice/snow for the morning drive (and I have a 30 mile commute to work).

    Bodybugg users report here!

Yep, I had to have my digital display reset tonight. The number to call is 866.314.9423. That's the bodybugg tech support number, and they were very helpful to me.

    So...what's up with SALAD?

Unchewed lettuce getting stuck does NOT sound like my idea of fun. I've been stuck on raw carrot before, and I still shy away from them if they're not cooked to within an inch of their lives. Can you say OUCH!!! As long as you chew chew chew chew chew, and take SMALL bites, AND take your time, salad should be fine. HOWEVER, there are people that simply cannot do lettuce after being banded no matter how they try. Hence, my cautionary statement.

    So...what's up with SALAD?

LOL, Wasa! I can eat salad, as long as I'm careful. So far, though, I haven't had it shoot out through my nose, ala salad shooter.... EWWW! Caution is strongly recommended when eating salad.

    Anyone go to Curves Gym?

Curves is for women only. I have been a member there twice. I love it when I go, but the nearest one to me is 30 miles from home, and 15 minutes from work. Just not feasible for me...

Gas pain so bad I can not stand it

Also, try sitting in a rocking chair and ROCK with a purpose. I had to sit with a pillow on my tummy to hold it still, and rock for a few minutes, then I'd get up and walk around, get down on my hands and knees with my butt up in the air.... All these things help, and this will pass... (pardon the pun)

    does your band...

Lauren, YES, stress can cause the band to be tighter. If I'm having a particularly stressful day, I'm better off having something mushy, like refried beans, because I'll get stuck on almost anything solid.

    trembling after a fill

I was only nervous for my first fill, and after that, I knew what to expect, so I wasn't really nervous, either. I have no idea if it triggers an endocrine reaction, but I suppose it's possible.

    Trouble with water?

When you drink your water, is it ICE cold? If so, that could be the problem. I find that room temp water goes down much easier.

    trembling after a fill

I do that, too, I think it's just nerves. I tell myself I'm not nervous, but I get an adrenaline rush right afterwards as if I've almost been in a bad car wreck.... It's strange, but (I think) normal.

    Bodybugg users report here!

I did, and she said that the way the coaching sessions are handled are a bit different if you've JUST been banded. But she said it really didn't make a difference otherwise.

    I'm mad at australians...

That's hysterical! I bet Peter Garrett makes a fine crusty old politician... I dig Cold Chisel.... Haven't heard much from them, though. I'll have to do some searching later...

    feelin a little down..

For the diarrhea, take some liquid immodium. It REALLY helps. As for the food commercials, turn off the tv! Or record what you want to watch, and fast forward thru the commercials! Hang in there, you're almost there!!!!

    I'm mad at australians...
