Hey Homecare, it's me who has the 6 month package, i've got an ECFS fill on the 11th Jun then am going over to WLS 6 month package on the 23 Jun. It was Coleen who booked it for me and i've paid a deposit so don't know why you got given duff info! x

Yeah it will, it'll be my first fill, then two weeks after, i start my package with WLS so i should have had my first 3 fills by 7 July. I just know that if i keep my fills regular and frequent, i should start losing weight quickly enough and keep motivated! Does anyone recommend WLS? I've gone with the 6 month package in Leeds and Harley St and Coleen says i can be filled every 2 weeks if i need it? x

Hey wishfull and Mandyfielding, i too am getting filled on the 11th at 12.15 (i think!) so it would be gr8 to meet you both then! Mandy, don't worry about the liquids thing, i spoke to coleen at WLS the other day and she said that it's best for your inflammation if you stay on liquids and mushies before your 1st fill anyway, your doing fine x

Hey homecare, yeah, my swelling went enough after about 10 days that i started feeling hungry so i went onto mushies and solid foods too early. My weight stopped moving so i went back onto liquids, yoghurt, slimfast cadbury light mousses, jelly and Soup 2 days ago so the weights moving again. and another 2 pounds off! But when i'm not on Liquids I can pretty much eat anything except fresh bread, toast is fine etc etc, chips are way to easy to eat and are the devils food!...... x

Not really homecare, but i just keep reminding myself that i'll feel different when i start getting fills, i'm stuck in limbo at the moment feeling hungry and making bad food choices, so i'm back on liquids today, so i can't really make the wrong decisions before my first fill on the 11th! x

Hi homecare, When i was in the hospital, i didn't think i could get my wedding ring off and the nurse said not to worry if i couldn't. Turns out the hospital soap worked in getting it off in the end but i hope this info helps abit x

Thanks for the encouragement Flirty and Wishfull! How you feeling about your consultation Flirty? How's your weight loss going Wishfull? x

Thanx Mandy, went shopping this afternoon and bought some gr8 mushie food, quorn mince for shepherds pie, veggies for roast dinner (mashed up!) and smoked cod for fish pie tonight, yum! i also took everyones advice and bought ribena squash and barley water to try getting more fluids down. The bloating feeling maybe your stomach aching for food. If you're still on liquids after 2 weeks, you're bound to get gas from the empty stomach, i felt like that after the firast days but not anymore, but then again i'm eating enough food i hope! How's the weight loss going? x

Flirty, think your having a brain fart with my name chick! Mark's fine, just about to go to morrisons to get some yummy foods, think i'm gonna stick to liquids in the day and mushies like fish pie, shepherds pie, quorn bolognaise etc. Had rice the other day, found it fine so chilli would be good. Might stick to quorn though, no lumps and loads healthier! Was thinking about M the other day, how's her weight loss? Tell her we're thinking of her x

flirtylass, how's it going? Hope you're feeling ok about surgery! You look gr8 now chick so imagine how fab you'll look after with a flat tummy an all! I went to the doctor yesterday and he's so good he's asked me to go back in september to sort out a referral to hospital for tummy tuck, he reckons if we get the ball rolling, i wont have to wait too long after most of my weight is down.... and i'll only have to get to 12 stone to see the consultant (my goal weight is 10st 4lbs!). Let me know how it's going chick x

Hi nzniki44, I was banded about 10 days ago and i too wasn't hungry for the first few days. The first 10 days, i have averaged an actimel and 2 crisp breads for breakfast, soup or weight watchers rice pudding or yoghurt for lunch and the same for dinner. I found that buying low fat desserts and yoghurts and fresh strong soups helped with the boredom. As you've probably read, i am struggling with water but that's probably because i was so used to waiting until i was thirsty and then downing a pint of water which i can't do now. i can only take really small sips and get frustrated but i'm sure it will ease with time. As for the pain, 10 days in, my stiches are out and i feel great again. My wounds are healing well and theres no more port pain, how are you feeling? x Mandyfielding, How's your band going? It's only been 2 weeks since your band. are you feeling similarly to me? x Wishfull, lol just realised your real name on my friend request on facebook now! Couldn't work out who it was, i'm sooo dizzy at times x

Hi guys, Soooo sorry about my rant yesterday, but i think i was panicking about water. It feels like i can't drink fast enough to keep hydrated but am managing about half a litre a day. Tried Ribena very light yesterday and managed a litre to fingers crossed. Thanks to you all for your kind words and tolerence, feeling much better about it now x

Hey everyone, Well it's day 9 post op, and now i'm starting to get hungrier! Stiches out tomorrow! Going onto mushies tomorrow so something different. Few questions to ask if anyone will be kind enough to answer: Has anyone else found it more difficult to drink Water than tea or food? I am but maybe warm water might be better? Has anyone got idea what mushies i can eat? I want to start eating three meals a day instead of grazing on yoghurts, muller rice and soup! Cheers, and hey flirty girlie, how's your restriction going? x

Hi Devonpilgrim, I too was contacted by Tullia but she was soooo pushy, i went with Bridget instead. She then phoned me again and when i said i'd already booked with Bridget, she said 'well thanx for nothing' and hung up on me!! The cheek of the woman really annoyed me so my advice would be Bridget or directly through Dr Chris.......... Hey Flirty, How's things? Feeling gr8 now, 10lbs down and no pain anymore, finding it harder to drink water than tea or soup or yoghurt, how strange! When you off liquids? Have you weighed yourself yet? x
