Good luck SavanasMama! It totally works! I was banded on March 30th, and so far I have gone from a BMI of 59 to a BMI of 49! You will do great!

I am so excited! I just signed on for the Turkey Day Challenge. I have never done a challenge like this, and I am excited to give it a try! I was banded in March, and haven't been to this forum much. I may need to remedy that! :smile:

Although I have much more to lose than you, I know the feeling of not knowing what else to do. I know when I was in California 2 weeks ago, there were billboards everywhere around LA offering lap band if you had 50 pounds or more to lose. I don't know if most Doctors recommend getting banded with such a low BMI, but if you are committed, I think anything is possible. Good luck! I would Google lap band in California. -

Hey! We were banded the same day. I haven't noticed anyone else on the 30th. Mondays are kind of unusual for surgery! Anyways, tell them you are not feeling great. Hopefully that will help. Good luck!
