I haven't been here for months. I am not doing so well and I need some support PLEASE! I had my band placed in June 2006. So approx. a year and 5 months ago. I did well at first. I lost about 47 pounds. Then I learned new things I could eat and swallow Water or juice and get them down. Now I am only down about pounds. I have had a few fills but I have never learned to live the RIGHT way. This sucks. I am embarrassed to talk to the Doctor and also afraid to talk to my family because I feel like I have failed myself. I think my biggest obstacle is the ice cream. I will eat so much at night and not have any problems getting it past the band. I need some support and friends and for someone to tell me where to begin this journey again.
Thanks.

Okay my band friends..need some help and love! I had my band placed June 12th...I have lost about 46 pounds. Heres my problem. I eat something then drink water to flush it down. I also eat sweets like crazy. I am still hungry after 2 fills. What should I do? Should I get another fill? My surgeon has no bed side manner and to talk to him about this I would feel like a failure!
Well...hate to say this...but I had my first PB! Yuck, ouch, wow! Well, after I threw up like 3 different times because the slime made me gag...I felt nauseated all day...then I have this burning sensation in my back now...what the heck??
:help:
I was really hungry for a while...then I started on solids and I felt full for hours at a time. But the liquid and mushie phase was hard but now I feel incredible!
I am 3 weeks out from surgery and I am fatigued in the worst way. I used to be a heavy Pepsi/Coke drinker and of course I haven't had that in over 3 weeks....but I am exhausted...any thoughts?
