  1. Happy 36th Birthday clovermeg!

  2. Michelle Vicari had plastics and her RNY in Mexico, her blog is: http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/ she is a true success story!
  3. 5 years has passed since you registered at LapBandTalk! Happy 5th Anniversary clovermeg!

  4. Please add me to the list! Clovermeg.....262............262............ .245.............17
  5. Try this Stevia Protein Powder or NSI Natural whey Protein Complex with Xylitol, Stevia & Aminogen vanilla -- 5 lbs - vitacost or Optimum Nutrition Natural 100% Whey Gold Standard Vanilla -- 5.11 lbs - Vitacost (I've actually used this last one in chocolate, it's not too bad). I can't tolerate Splenda, it gives me bad indigestion, among other things. I really like stevia, it's a natural sweetener. I will buy Kool-aid packets and use 2 teaspoons of stevia instead of 2 cups of sugar, you could also add plain, unsweetened Protein Powder to this.

    Help Finding Cute Clothes...

Thank you so much! I'm off to search for the thread on Lane Bryant That's the only store around here that's for larger women and they are too expensive and their clothes seem cheaply made to me, one of my biggest issues with them is that their shirts are really WIDE and really SHORT....which does me no good because I don't want my shirts to be like halter tops.
  9. I tried doing a search for "clothes" but couldn't find anything...so...I'm finding I'm going down in size, but still woman's size...22/24 and I need some advice on websites where I can find stylish, yet affordable clothing. I don't like to bargain shop, so I don't want to go to an expensive website and then have to sift through the clearance and maybe find the size I need...instead I'd prefer an affordable online store. If you have any suggestions I'd greatly appreciate them!!! Thanks so much! Meg:)

    panniculectomy

If you don't mind me asking, and maybe you posted it somewhere else, but how did you get the insurance to cover it? Did you have a rash or something....any helpful hints would be much appreciated!!!

    Does cingular cover lapband

You would need to look at the book you got when you signed up for benefits. If it's not mentioned there, call UHC and given them your ID number and they can tell you if it's covered, you have to have the procedure code, I think it's: 43770.

    Vitamins?? What do you take??

Does anyone know of a good Fish Oil pill to take that I can actually swallow? All of the ones I've tried are like 1.5 inches long and I can't get them down, they get stuck!!! YUCK....imagine fish oil s-l-o-w-l-y dripping down. THANKS!
  13. I'm no expert, but maybe you should stick with liquids for the next two days, move gradually to thicker things like potatoes for two more days and then test regular food. Every time you get a fill you esophagus may swell. Good luck. If this doesn't work get a small adjustment. HTH

    Body Bugg

Is there anyone out there that can describe how the body bugg program works? I saw on the website that it's $399 and you get 2 phone sessions with a coach and 3 months of online access. After those three months does the body bugg still work or do you have to have the online access and then how much is that per month? Thanks!!
  15. Dr. C~ Maybe you can clarify this for me. I have read it repeatedly on this forum that the saline can evaporate inside the tubing, band, etc.... and that is why, on occasion, the doc will not pull out all of the Fluid, or one may feel tight right after fill and then it goes away. Logically, I don't understand this....how, in a closed system, can the Water "evaporate"...where does it evaporate to? I look at my water cooler system and I see condensation above the water line and I understand that...but the water doesn't evaporate away, it's still there. Sorry this isn't a complication...just a confusion, and I wanted to make sure you'd see it! Thanks,
