Hi Candace. I had my surgery on May 21'st. Kaiser had me spend one night in the hospital and provided a morphine drip which was very effective for pain management. They want you up walking as soon as possible and at my second walk i felt some nausea. I reported it and they gave me something that made it go away. I have been feeling sore and a little bruised but nothing extreme. They sent me home with a bottle of liquid vioden which I used a lot on Friday and Saturday and started using less on Sunday. I haven't taken any today. I am planning on being back at work tomorrow. I have some gas pains (not from the surgery from internal digestive gasses) I got some gas x strips that have helped. The gas is uncomfortable pressure. Please let me know if you have any other questions!
