I hadn't thought about atkins. I am now. My dr. Wants me to loose 25# and do a 3 week liquid... i not a fan of the Protein shakes to start with do maybe i can drop a decent amount and only have to do 2 weeks. Hey a week less is a week less. Sent from my DROID RAZR using VST

I got a call last month from my dr. office saying I was approved...brought me in for my pre op appointment. Later that day I was called and told that No that they hadn't gotten the approval and that I might have to do the 6 month I can change program (tufts). it's been two weeks and they kept asking for more and more paperwork, which my dr. office kept sending them last night they denied me. missing clinical paperwork missing! My dr. office calls and tells me that she's working with someone and that she is going to resubmit it with the missing stuff. I call and as questions ( I hate waiting!) and the insurance woman tells me that no a denial is a denial and that my Dr. can call in and speak to the medical director one-on-one and perhaps that would be better than an actual appeal. My dr. is now on vacation till the 9th! UGH i'm so upset and frustrated right now! who is tell me the truth? did they not send the paperwork? did the insurance co mess up?? I just want my approval!!!

The dr. Office just ca,,led and she got the approval!! she re-faxed what they were looking for and they approved me!!! Now just waiting on a surgery date!!! August/September/October.. I don't care I just want my date!!! Onederland here I come!!!

The extreme pain is a dry socket from the tooth they pulled on Friday... put Medicine in and gave me more painkillers... not like they do a thing...relaxing on the couch for the night. Hopefully going to get some sleep tonight

I haven't had my sleeve yet I do have a band and I was told no straws....I found it impossible I never drank enough. Ans driving and wearing what ever I was drinking got old quick.I have Ben told no straws post sleeve however I know it will be a challenge. I hate that there is so much gray area or differences from Dr. To Dr. I also have issues with the no drinking while eating .... nut told me I could sip from a shot glass. Thank god! I'm thinking after doing alot of reading here that 1 week isn't going to cut it, but honestly the most I could do is 1.5 with some lighter days the 2nd week. I ride a desk when i'm not out doing sales calls and I have a pretty awesome boss/and staff that is behind me on this. There is never going to be a "good time" to take off x number of days let alone weeks. I work for a Hotel. I will of course listen to my body if something isn't right of if i'm pushing to much I will back off and put me first.
