    Sounds yummy~
  4. Hi I never had problems with Nausea but I've read others have. As for the gas pains in your chest I experienced that four days later and it was very very painful and I thought the same thing you did. Don't worry it will pass it may take two to three days but it will pass.

    just got out of surgery

Sorry forgot to mention that my first week was basically a lot of ISOPURE drinks and broth soup. I lost weight right away I mean ten pounds in less then a week but then that was it until a week ago. Like I mentioned in previous post tomorrow is my one month marker and from my scale it looks as if I lost maybe 15 pounds but I know it won't always be like this. I wish you the best of luck on your new journey~

    just got out of surgery

Wow Congrats~ I didn't even want to lift a finger to post anything my first day. Glad to hear you came through.... For me it hurt just trying to pull myself in and out of the bed for atleast four days but as each day went by I felt better and better. For me I think the most painful part was the gas pains in my chest which occured five days later and lasted for a few days but other then that it's been great. Tomorrow will be my one month marker.....yay me........ Good Luck~
  7. Lol thank you so much for this thread because for the longest I've wondering what PB meant and now I know. Well today was the first time that I experienced the foam and I can't believe the pain I had in my chest, I guess I just forgot to chew more carefully. I thought to myself what is happening to me and where is this all coming from.....I had tears in my eyes make up was running down my face. Trust me it wasn't a pretty site so needless to say I don't ever want to experience that again. :tt1:
  8. When I got banded I didn't feel the gas pains until the 4th day and all I can is wow I didn't expect to feel that kind of pain and it lasted for 2-3 days. I hope you don't have it as long as I did.
  9. I didn't even think about the Knorr Vegetable mix that's a great idea........I only ever used that to make the spinach dip (those were the days lol).........
  10. I am drinking the Isopure which I love and I am also drinking water and may have some broth from time to time. I noticed someone asked where to get the veggie broth and I bought mine at at a store called Trader Joe's. My stomach seems to be growling from time to time but I can deal with it but what is' bothering me is the trapped gas in my chest grrrrrr.

    December Delights 2009

Hello Everyone~ I have been reading all your posts from time to time and believe me it's been VERY helpful. I signed up a while ago but never posted atleast I don't thinks so. I guess I'll see once I hit submit lol. I just got banded this past Wednesday on the 16th and have to say it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be but it was a bit painful having to get up and down. The part that I am having trouble with right now is is the chest pain I guess that would be the the trapped gas? Well it is seriously irritating and I am hoping that someone can tell if and when this will pass? Is there something that I am doing wrong? I have only been drinking the isopure, water and maybe some broth. My doctor wants me to stay on the liquids until my next appointment which is on the 29th.
  12. Hi MommyO...... I was just wondering if you kept your appointment with Dr. Solomon because I have an appointment with him on June 1st. I too was trying to get in to see Dr. Takahashi but she didn't have anything available till July. If you did see him, how did it go and does he seem to know his stuff?
