I think I will have to be breaking mine up for quite some time due to my spasm and having to stay on mushies another 4 weeks. Maybe you should call Gaby or Nina or Renee and ask their opinion? I am still not able to swallow any pills and so cut them into small pieces. If you are able to swallow whole pills, I don't see why you couldn't switch to OTC Zantac (take 2 = 1 RX). If I run out of the nexium, then that is probably what I will do, as I know Zantac works quite well for me (or did before surgery anyway). We are leaving tomorrow so if you do want some, let me know!
