  2. Happy 36th Birthday 4x4 Moma!

  3. Hey lady, I am moving along very slow, but I am not complaining --- I am moving. I am down 35lbs. as of today.

I am very excited to hear from you. How are your babies? And How are you doing getting back on track after childbirth? Can't wait to see you post pics of you at goal.

  4. Hey sweet heart... how are you? What's new? How is your journey going? Thinking of you! :)

  5. I am really struggling with my band. I am on my 4th fill and lost 7lbs since surgery. whoo whoo. I am not giving up. Going for another fill soon.
  6. Wow you look great - What an inspiration. I needed to see your pics to help get me motivated again. Thanks and Best of luck to you!

  7. Hi Moma,

I've been away from the site for awhile and just noticed your note. Thanks so much for the good wishes. I'm sorry things are not going well for you. Have you had any fills yet? Just wondering if that might help. The last couple of weeks have been a bit harder for me and I need to refocus. It's probably because we just got back from a cruise. But, I am still losing just at a much slower rate. I guess I had trained myself so well that I get the guilts now if I don't follow it to a "T". I don't know if this will help you at all, but I really do think journaling my food keeps me on track (got away from it since the cruise on March 7). I do better at it online than actually writing it down and found www.thedailyplate.com easy to do. It tracks calories and protien. Don't give up Moma, you can do it!

  8. Hey girl friend, I just wanted to check on you and your Babies. I sure hope all is well. I am sure Piper is ready to be big sister. I think about you often.

  9. You look great season4change!! I am very proud of you. I have not been keeping up with this site much. My lapband story is not very successful. I actually weigh the same thing I weighed the day I had my surgery. I not discouraged yet, Reading stories like your help to keep me focused. Keep up the great work - for both of us.

Send some of your snow to Ga. LOL

  10. Hey, My friend. I am so excited that you are on here now. I am also so proud of you and your accomplishments. You are doing a great job.

  11. I thought Crystal Light was OK and sugarfree. I have had the band since 11/09/09 and I am still waiting on my first fill. (schedule issues) but I feel a complete failure at the band so far. I loose some and then gain it back - just like I did pre-band. I have been drinking Crystal light alot. Did this make a big difference for you? Thanks for the info. I am willing to try anything.
  12. I went for my fill on friday only to get a phone call half way there telling me I will need to reschedule because the office is going to be closed due to weather. I was/am very upset. I called to day to reschedule and they can not see me until 01/29/09. I will be banded almost 3 months before my first fill. Went back to liquid diet today trying to start over and try to loose some w/o fill. Ughhh!
  13. Cocoabean - Thanks for the info. and a different way to look at this. Your right, my pre-op was like a crash diet. It does make sense thinking of it that way. Elfiepoo - Wow - 9 weeks and 3 fills - I am jeolous. I am also having issues with my thyroids. That is another reason I have had to wait for my fills. I have 2 mass on my thyroids and the biospy came back showing a cell that could or could not be cancerous. So I still have more test to do. I think Dr. Duncan will adjust my band according to me, but I honestly am not sure. I will know Friday at 9am, because I will be asking when I can come back for another fill. Thanks for the 411. I will be more aggressive it needed. I am kinda a professional at that:angel_smile:. LOL. Both of you keep up the great work.
  14. Wow Mimi, Thanks for the input. That is encouraging coming from someone so close to goal. Congrats to you. :smile2: Amanda
  15. My surgery was November 9th and I will not get my first fill until January 8, 2010. I am really nervous about going. Not because of "fear of fill", but "fear of scales". I know I have gained about 6lbs. I also have only my scars to remind me I even have the band. Even though I have really tried to drink my water, make good food choices, eat less and exercise I have still gained. Has anyone else gained before their first fill?
