I am ALIVE!!! I was so scared of being put to sleep and it was not that bad!! I mean they were taking me in to have my surgery and I looked up at the Dr. and told him that I just could NOT do it. So they wheeled me out of the OR and called my parents who were in the waiting room to tell them that I had changed my mind....My mom came in FURIOUS.. and told the Dr. to put me to sleep Immediately so I could have the operation...... I started crying and then a nurse... Bridget told me that she was going to go back in the OR with me and stay with me the whole time.... she comforted me and she told me to take a few deep breaths and put a mask over my face.... next thing I knew I woke up to the sounds of smooth Jazz in the recovery room. I survied....oficially lap banded... it has been tough untill yesterday.. that was the first day I actually felt good!! I had the worst Nausea and broke out in hives. But I have just started feeling good.... How are you doing???
