Hey Jonathon, I mainly followed a low fat/low carb/high protein diet and haven't tried any breads, fried foods, or sweets since surgery. Hope that helps. I need to put that on my site as I get a lot of questions on it. Thanks for the idea

Plastic Surgery Terms for Weight Loss Patients
ousooner replied to New Hope's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
I have United Health Care, which was awesome when it came to the band. But unfortunately, not as good with the PS -
I am 11 months out now and don't know if that qualifies me as long term. But I am at goal for almost 2 months now. No regrets at all, I lost faster than most RNY patients and have had zero complications. Best thing I have ever done for myself. I have been obese most of my life and am smaller now than I have ever been (probably since like middle school and was much shorter then) I am wearing a 34 waist pants and a medium shirt. I never thought, even best case scenerio, that I would loose that much that fast.

I had that happen to me, but I was afraid to pull. I took cuticle clippers and cut the end off and had no further problems and couldn't feel it after that.

Plastic Surgery Terms for Weight Loss Patients
ousooner replied to New Hope's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
Hi there, I just went for a consult here in the Dallas area. I was quoted $6500 for a tummy tuck and $10,500 for a lower body lift. I was told because I have no skin issues or back problems, that insurance would not cover it. I am going to make an appointment with another Dr to I can compare prices. -
Great job Alicia and good luck Drews! :welldoneclap:

Great job Bill! ANother thing I have found that I was reminded of on your post. I bought some pants several weeks ago. I always buy pleated work pants (business casual) because the pleats hide a lot. I accidentally bought flat front pants and didn't realize it until I was trying them on when I got home. They actually fit very nicely.

Thats great news. Thanks for the update!

I have UHC and did not have to have any history. Maybe its written into the contract they made with your company. Each policy is individual based on the agreement between them.

I don't think I would consider it attacking my faith so much as I would feel they were just being a jerk. Unfortunately, there are jerks in every faith, race, etc.
-
That's refreshing to hear. We should all take that approach instead of acting like we know it all and refuse to listen to anythings else. I would like to think I learn on a daily basis, not just about my faith, but about life in general. I don't think I am compromising my faith if I change my mind about certain things because I am taught something I was unaware of previously.

If it were to get to that point, I would politely tell them that we must agree to disagree and let it drop. I would still be polite to them,
