Banded 6/25/09. Down 79 and getting discouraged. Only lost 20 lbs in 5 months. Run 3 miles per day, and thinking I eat pretty well. Just need to be more accountable for snacks.

Hi Bryan, I had lap band surgery last June 25, and have lost 80 lbs (started at 324). Don't get too hung up on the 100 lb thing. Slow and steady wins the race.

I was banded 6/24, lost 40 lbs very quickly. Had my first fill 7/29 3cc's. Lost 5 lbs since then. Had second fill last week, no loss. I have been exercising 5 days per week 1 hr of fast walking and stationary bike. Getting kind of frustrated. No restriction! Currently at 4cc's -
Started 322 6/8/09 Post Op 307 6/24/09 Now 289 7/27/09 Total 33. Get my first fill tomorrow!

Also banded on the 24th. Am currently up to mushy after my first post op visit yesterday. Isn't it amazing how Doctors are SO different with their post op instructions? -
