    Sleeping position

The first night they kept me in the hospital. Oh My---thank was sooooo uncomfortable. When I got home, I just got my favorite pillows and blanket and went to the sofa. I slept there one night but it was uncomfortable and my arms hurt from trying to push up and adjust myslef . The next night I slept in an oversized leather chair with an ottoman. This was great. I slept all night long. I did this again the next night and it was great also. I then felt I was ready for my bed and my husband so I tried the bed, I have no trouble sleeping on my back or sides. The only trouble is getting out of bed. Oh well----I guess we can't have it all. I feel great today. I had the banding done 5 days ago. I'm doing great and feeling great. I don't like crushing all my medicines though. I'll get used to it. Everyone---------just hang in there. I can't wait to reinvent myself.

    New and learning!

:clap2: Hello: My name is Jeanne. I was just banded on Monday June 19th. I am 51 and heavy all my life. I was banded 25 years ago with an old fashion band. I lost 80 lbs with that but the band crimped and became horribly unbearable to live with. Couldn't drink or anything. I had it for 12 years until I had it removed. Now here I am again. Can't believe I'm doing this again. It is really an adjustment in life. I hope all goes well. My beginning weight is 300 lbs and I'm 5'8" tall. I can't wait until I lose this weight. My arthritis and back are really bad. I need feedback from you guys. Help me be strong. I know everyone on here needs strong words of encouragment. We can do it. Write me back. I would love to share with anyone. God Bless--------jeanne in Houston
