I'm baaaaaaaack!! So I've been a HORRIBLE patient haven't seen my Doc in years. I'm calling tomorrow to make my appointment and deal with the lecture I deserve. I'm waking up due to vomitting & coughing. The reflux is more than it should be. I'm terrified of getting "in trouble". Yes, I'm 43 and scared of being scolded. BUT I'm woman enough to admit I've screwed up & need to be better!!! I have so much to read & catch up on everyone. Sorry to see Jay-tee having such issues. -

Throwing Up every Night..Please Help

Confession time I haven't seen my Doc in years. I'm even confused by whether I was banned in 2008 or 2009. I've lost roughly 100 but I'm still 40lbs from where he wanted me. I've recently started waking up vomitting/coughing. I'm going to call tomorrow and face the music. My health is far more important than my fear of getting in trouble for not having been to the Doc. -
I stepped on the scale today and it read 255, whoo hoo! On 3/5/10 I was 263. I'm a very happy camper.
-
Ok, I've changed my ticker to reflect 262, which would be a 4 lb loss. But I'm a bit nervous that my scale is having issues. It was taking a super long time to give my weight. Then it gave me 262.3. So I tried it again and it gave me 265.4. I stepped on again (Yes, again :smile2: ) and it listed 262.3. So I'm sticking with that and hoping that it is confirmed in the next couple days.

JT- You look great!!! Congrats on the smaller pants & shirt. I'm so happy for you! I'm so glad I signed on today. I'm just giddy with joy for my fellow bunnies. You guys inspire me more than you could ever know. I failed my band at first, truly did everything not to help myself. But now I feel like not only can I work it,but that I AM working it! I can't wait to share my results like JT & BG have. Today is good day a really good day! -
WHOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOO BG!!!!!!! So happy for you! I've been to two funerals in the last 6 days. I didn't weigh in on Friday, simply forgot. Then I snacked way too much. But not as much as I would've before learning to "work" my band. Anyhow I'm up 3 lbs right now, but I hope to be down by next week with addtional loss. Of course I have 2 parties this weekend to attend. Both are drinking events with tons of bad food. I must be strong!!!
-
LOL JG  Congrats again JT, you will see Onderland soon. I have no doubt in my mind. I'm down 1 lb this week. I haven't worked out much at all. I've got to get back on track.
-
Congrats JT on your reflections, how cool is that ?! A third of the man. :frown: BG- sorry you're feeling so poorly. I hope you recover quickly and kick the cooties' booties! JG- Congrats on your loss. GL with your knee replacement. Well I guess I have plenty of time to wish you well. Extra positive thoughts can't hurt, right? I'm down 7lbs! I've been working out quite often. I feel like I'm finally working my band. Though I have to be honest and say that I'm struggling with the not drinking while eating. I've got to get a grip on that. I'm very happy to break the 50lbs lost mark. I still have a loooooooong way to go, but I'm going!!
-
2 lbs down for me this week. Clearly the fill & working out are working! I'm so happy! I know I'm miles away from the other Bunnies, but I'm on the right track now!
-
I stayed the same this week. TOM and stress, I'm sure played a big part. I failed miserably at my BodyBump class. I thought I was going to puke & passout, only 10 minutes in The instructor agreed that I should try again at another time. She told me to go walk & monitor my heart rate. I went on the bike watched my HR and did 16 miles in 45 minutes. So I feel very proud of myself for not letting not being able to do the class get me down. Big pat on the back for me from me :sifone: Congrats JT on passing your 1st goal!
-
JT- I agree please call your Doc. BG- this is so exciting! I love your new "head". I'm going to check out your blog in a bit. JG- Slow & steady wins the race, we'll all get there sometime. Celebrate any loss, because it sure beats the alternative. Though I admit I want the magic pill to make it all disappear and leave me looking like Cindy Crawford in a matter of minutes :bored: I'm down 4lbs this week. I wasn't able to take the BodyPump class My knees are really giving me grief. Last year when this happened I ignored it and pushed through- HUGE mistake. I wasn't able to excerise at all for 8 weeks and then had to go back very very very slowly. So I'm going to ice, Ibuprofen and try to keep a major flair up at bay. Hopefully I'll be able to take it next Friday.

Here are links to the two classes I'm thinking about taking: RPM- http://www.lesmills.com/global/en/members/rpm/a-typical-class.aspx Body Pump- http://www.lesmills.com/global/en/members/bodypump/a-typical-class.aspx I have to work up the nerve to go. I never thought I would be afraid to be around a bunch of people, I'm very outgoing. But I tell ya, I'm so nervous about trying these classes. What is the worst thing that could happen? I make a fool out of myself? Oh well, it's not like I'm going to know anyone. I just have to be like Mike (Michael Jordan) and do it! -
Can a big woman Spin? I'm very bottom heavy & klutzy on top of that  I'm excited, but really nervous to try. I'm taking part of of a 12 week fitness/weight loss challenge at our health club. They offer several classes for much lower cost for those in the challenge. Anyhow, RPM is the one that will fit with my schedule. I'm an early morning exerciser, time FT working Mom of a 5 yr DD. So do I give it shot? Or would I be better off waiting till I lost more weight? I've been walking/jogging/marching in the current channel of the pool. I also have recumbant biked & eliptical (my fav).
