hey i can't figure out how to change my ticker been a while and i guess i forgot how but i am down 105lbs way below where i thought i would get too!!!! i think that makes my bmi in the healthy range not obese not overweight but healthy!!!!

i saw 178 today!!! 8 more days to my 3rd anniv. and 1 more pound 'til 100 lost!!! hope i make it tp and others i so understand where you are all i can say is stay in there and when you get to your sweet spot it really helps.

just 2 weeks until my 3rd anniversery and today i saw 179 i started the lapband process at 277 so just 2 more lbs and i will make 100 in three years!!! probably won't quite make it but i am so excited to be this close. actually my highest weight was 283, so guess i did make 100!!!

btw has anyone talked to LisaG lately???

l2 i know what you mean about normal size aint it great i thought i would never get to shop at any store but the fat lady store and now i can get clothes anywhere the most exciting was buying jeans at the GAP unbelievable!!!. never give up and get those fills is my advice, i am almost 3 years out and only 4-5 lbs more and my BMI will be in the normal range NOT overweight or obese, i started out morid obese!!! YAY my total loss is 90lbs the last 10 or so i can see a difference, it is hard for me to see what i look like, the other day i saw my body's reflection in a window and i really saw the difference in me for the first time!! this has been a hard journey but it is worth it all, my son got married in march and i am not the biggest person in the pictures that is such a good feeling!!! one more nsv my husband and i weight the same i just wish my 180 looked as good as his 180!!! i am in no way bragging about this just wanted to share with you all that it is possible. i am never hungry, have finally learned that you don't have to eat a but load of stuff to survive, i am very tight but havent had to have a fill in over a year. so if this slow turtle can do it you all can too.

hey guys i am still loosing slowly but steady i am at 90lb lost from the start of lapband and around 100 from the highest which was 2-3 yrs before lapband. my husband and i weigh about the same i just don't understan why his 186 looks so much better than my 186!!!

malti after 3 fills i had no more restriction then i did from the begining so they ck the port under flouro using contrast dye and when they did the fill you could see it pouring into the tissue around the port. of course i still blame them because of the number of sticks i had with each fill the drs could never fill me without at least 6-8 sticks or under flouro!!!

peri i already have had mine tubing repair it was done 3/07 maybe they weren't doing it in the office back then!!! glad you are doing ok, the pain did not last long when i had mine done just some soreness for a couple of days susan

alig, how did it go hope you are feeling ok!!! wish had had the option to have mine repair done in the office, but the drs didnot even offer that option to me and my repair at the surg. center cost me $2000!!! hey today i realized my BMI is only overweight not obese or morbid obese!!! YAY!!!

malti good for you!!! i keep playing 3-4 lbs somedays i am at 197 and somedays it is 200 i just wish it would stay below 200!!! but that is truly a big event in a banster life!!!

:confused:i have not had a fill since 2-08 i have been very tight and know i have been playing with fire staying so tight but the last time i when to my dr. when i was so tight he took to much of the fill out and i could eat a horse and was really hungry!!! i have had heartburn at night, and my band is very finicky i never know what will stay or what will cause a pb!!! but i have learned to eat less and stop eating before 6:00 at night and for the first time i have lost weight at a steady pace since feb (1-2lbs a week). but the last few days i seem to be able to eat a little more and haven't had heartburn. could this be a slip or the band losening up some since i have lost around 40lbs since the last fill??? oh and i don't have any pain unless i am stuck.:thumbup: i seldom ever post but to read a lot on the board and have not really seen anyone with this problem

glo i saw lisa at wallyworld last week!!! she looks great, but is discouraged at no weight loss on the scales, i think she needs a fill, cut she is over a year out and now has to pay what ins. doesn't pay that makes you think twice about getting one and then have to have it removed!! she was on the trail on a couple of promising jobs and i haven't heard if she took one of the jobs.

aligmama will it be done in the hospital, i had my tubing repair and it was at the hospital, but i have read about some things being repaired under at local in the office(not dr h or dr k, but just some things i have read on the board)

well guys i am within 3lbs of my goal i set for myself and i never thought i would get this close to that goal, but i need to rethink that goal. i knew when i decided on 195 that that was still a high weight, but i thought i would be happy at that number. i think i want to keep trying to lose another 18 lbs and that will put me at 180, my bmi will still be overweight but it will be on the lower end of that chart. judging by the way things are fitting i think i will be in a size 12 and that will be a dream come true. so i will soon change my ticker but right now i am just taking a miinute to enjoy the old ticker!!!LOL you newbies(and i consider anyone under 12 months new) just hang in there!!! sometimes it just taked a while to get to our goals!!!

way to go peri don't those target jeans look so much better than lane bryants!!!!!!!! julie that's what we are here for, you just go ahead and vent whenever you need to!!! been home with a bug today fever and throwing up and the runs yuck!!!!

are you using splenda??? it gives me gas and the kind of gas that might have a little suprise with it if you know what i mean(i guess that was a little tmi)

tp when i had the fill under flouro it was around 200 at the hospital plus the 150 i had paid at the office for the fill dr h and dr k could not do the repair was 2000 at the hospital and the drs didnt charge but it was less than a year when i had the trouble and also mine could be repair and did not need to be replaced---- just a hole the the tubing which i believe was caused by the many sticks at each fill!!! the drs never said that my port has flipped just that my port is tilted and it makes it hard to fill.(always 5-9 sticks and then usually i have to go the hospital for flouro)

hey glo joined the wellness center today but i'm very busy this week trying to get ready for a big family reunion this weekend at our family cabin on my moms place. my brother volunteer our place and then told me i had to help so i will be glad when this is over!!!! i had hoped to see lou at the fair, but i missed her. how are things going for you i see the ticker is ticking right along!!!! don't think i will ever break the 200 barrier!!! i shovelled dirt all weekend and today after work i push mowed my moms big yard and then mowed mine yard so maybe tht will push my ticker down some?????? i hope so. i may try to hit the wellness center at lunch tomorrow and weds. but i have alot to do so i am not sure i will get to go this week, but i intend to go at it next week!!! i emailed lisa last week and haven't got a reply, she must be really busy i hope i hear from her soon!!!

glo were you spying. had a little extra time so i came home at lunch i could have gone to the wellness center and signed up but home sounded better today!!!!!
