llindaa i was having a problem with reflux at nite and i went in for an unfill because i was worried that i would have bigger problems if i stayed that way. the reflux went away. i got a fill 1 1/2 weeks ago and i am having a slight problem with reflux again but i think it is something i can control with malox or otc acid reducer pills.

chuckles i still get fills about every 2 months but remember because of the leak i about 6-9 months off track. hayley the support meeting is at the titus co. hospital and it is on the 3 mon of the month it is usually posted on noscales.com which is the doc from texarkana site. it should be next monday nite but that is a holiday so i'm not sure if they will met. ck the site or call to make sure

hey chuckles there is a bunch of us bandster that was banded by dr. h and dr k in texarkana. we have a support meeting in mt. pleasant once a month. we all post on the texarkana thread. i was self pay and had my surgery 7/06 and i am a very slow loser (i don't follow rules very good) but i am losing. my surgery was 15,000 and free fills for the first year now the fills are $150 i had a leak in the tubing the first 6 months so i have been slow to get to proper restriction but it was fixed in march 07 and things are better now

me,me,me first week since i was banded i have walked every day!!!! i tried to walk at least 30-40 minutes!!! my choice of foods is not so great but i trying to get on track!!!

i was having my oil changed the other day and when i paid for it the guy said i got $2 dollars off and i thanked him and said i had forgotten tuesday was ladies day, when i droved out a big sign said $2 off for SENIOR CITIZENS i was so upset i went home and told my dh i would have rather paid the $2 than have a sr citizen discount and i am 53!!!! i have really noticed that i have really begun to age lately and sometimes i wonder if it is because i have lost a little weight!

hey guys i go monday for a fill and really dread weighing for the drs i know i have gained a lot this past month because i have no restriction and it was the holidays. so i am looking at this month as a vacation from the band and now it is time to get back on the bandwagon!!! just hope they fill me up good and tight on monday!!

oh i am not going to go backwards on my ticker it will just be a long time before i can move it again as slow as i am

way to go sugarb since my last fill i have gained a bunch around 4-6 lbs but i have been taking a break from dieting and such right now i can eat anything and a lot of it i guess i should not have had the unfill but the reflex was really scary i go the 7th for a filll and i am going to tell them to fill it up!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OF YOU!!!

linda if you look at my date surgery date was 7/06 so my weight lose is very slow so i have no hints other than don't eat chocolate

i through my box out with the christmas papers and boxess!!!! i got a new digital camera and printer and my dh romantic soul that he is got me a new ceramic top cook stove, but my old stove didn't cook even so i guess i happy with the stove but i felt llike he was trying to send me a cook more often message!!!

i had the same pain and it lasted quite some time the best thing i found was a heating pad!!! still even after a year and a half i have some slight pain in the left shoulder esp. if i overeat i read that sometimes the port is pressing on the vagas (i think that is the spelling) nerve and this nerve goes from the diaphram to the temple and the pressure from the port and esp right after sx because of the swelling can irriate the nerve. but i would asked the dr.

lisa leave me alone i'm eating and eating and eating not much restriction after taking the last fill out!!! a little discourageed right now!!!

oh my did we have fun 5 dogs and 5 people trying to put up the christmas tree and watch the cowboys all at the same time!!!!! lisa are you OK you sure are quiet!!! not losing but not gaining anymore

sugarb he just took out the amount that dr k added 10 days before and i got an airedale (i think she is going to be an elephant)

yea viper i can totally relate i wish dr h had left some of the fill that dr k put in too, but as you say being to tight is no fun i had such a reflux problem and now that i have had the unfill no reflux but i am eating way too much!!!

brrr!!! it's cold i got a new puppy friday and it's cold outside waiting for her to do her business. man i am eating way to much since i got the unfill got to quit this eating just to eat thing. i need to follow lisa's stay in the box thing!!!

yep i have heard a lot of folks say it sometimes takes up to 2 weeks for a fill to kick in and my own experience with this last fill was as time went on i just got tighter and tighter and when i went in for the unfill i was having a hard time just drinking h20 and it had been 10 days since the fill
