My port seems to have "moved" close to my rib cage.
It causes me some discomfort when I am active, or bend over. Is this normal?

Hi ArmyWife. I got my first fill yesterday, the 27th. I did not feel a thing! Couldn't believe it! He gave me 3 cc's.But I'm sure I didn't get enough. I feel no restriction whatsoever. I am due to go back May 18th. I feel no different now from before the fill. Really nothing to be nervous about.

Thanks Slim, appreciate you taking the time to answer me.
I will cut back on my activity and give myself more time to heal. :-)

It has been 5 weeks since my surgery and I am still feeling pain around my large incision. Especially if I bend over. Is this normal? Today I mowed the lawn and now I am hurting really bad.

I never did have gas pains...didn't your doctor give you a shot for this before your surgery? My doctor did. I left the hospital 5 hours after my surgery and have not had one complication. I did the deep breathing techniques everyday for the first week and wore the support hose also. I was constantly walking from room to room, as my doctor told me to do. For the first week I did suffer with diarrhea but it went away during the second week. I do not regret for one second having the surgery. Just think ahead to this time next year how you are going to look and feel! Don't give up!!

Hi everyone, had my surgery 2 1/2 weeks ago and have already lost over 20 pounds. I am now on phase 3 of the program.
Haven't had my first fill yet, go back on April 27 for that.
Anyone have any words of wisdom for me? Would appreciate any and all comments. :smile2:

My port has also moved about an inch and a half above my incision. I have no pain but there is some discomfort when I bend over.
