I did have that problem snacking too much for the first month or so, and didn't feel enough restriction. Now, however, I have about 6.5cc in my band and I experience that backed up feeling in my esophogus after only about 3 bites. It takes me a few days to eat a normal meal, and most of the time I just give up eating because it is rather painful. It sounds worse than it is I think. I don't mind the restriction on eating, it just means the more weight I'll lose.

Hi I had my surgery in Jan. and have lost 30 lbs. But after my first fill of the lapband..........I've become hungry all of the time and could snack more then I should. I don't think the band was filled enough.........have you had this problem......I've gained back 2 lbs. and now feel like I need not to eat, so that I don't gain back anymore. Thanks

I had my lap-band surgery in January '09 and lost 30 lbs. after 2 mos., but now am having a problem with hunger and wanting to snack too much. I had my first fill of the band about 3-4 wks. ago and I don't think it was filled enough because I shouldn't be this hungry. Any others having this problem?
