literally your about you sounds like the exact description of what I've struggled with and how my life has been with my weight. You are really pretty so imagine when its done? Have u been banded yet? I have a surgery date of Oct 30th....i'm nervous but excited for the new me at the same time!

HI , i wanted to ask where you stand in your journey ? p.s i also had a delay in that comment you have such a pretty face . at first i was flatterd untill i got the fact that thats all they thought of me as a pretty face

I was banded on 4/27/2009 with the new Realize Band 11cc. Since that date I have already been in to get 2 fills and don't feel any restriction. I told my surgeon that I am still hungry and don't notice any difference when I am eating. He informed me that sometimes they have to do several fills with the new realize band before you will be able to feel a difference. I believe I have lost about 14 lbs since my surgery. It's coming off really slow but at the same time since I don't neccesarily feel a restriction I am definitely eating more then I should. I am currently filled 4cc's and am going back in next week to get more. The surgeon said he didn't want to put more then 1cc in at a time because if he does too much too fast it could cause problems swallowing. All I know is I want the restriction, it's the reason I had surgery in the first place. Other then that everything is going good with it, no pain my scars are healing up great... I'm just ready to loose this weight!

you are beautiful.. the pretty face syndrome don't do you justice! But I know exactly where you are coming from. Congrats on your decision for "change" Good luck with your journey!

I will be banded this month! I can't believe it's finally here! My exact surgery date is April 27th. I go in for my pre op appointment on April 14th to begin my two week liquid diet! yummy! I was doing great on my practice diet which started 3/5/09; however got very discouraged by my cardiologists office taking almost 4 weeks to fax over my dictated report..So I've fallen off my pre diet band wagon but am going to jump back on it this Saturday! Again, I'm very excited and not at all nervous for surgery. :smile2: -
