who supports right to choose

Rape is a crime. A feloney by law. Abortion is a choice, there is no law that prohibits it. So, in answer to youir question: I would call the police and intervene. -

No I would not. But with women I know who have had an abortion, now I'm sure this is not true of all women, but from conversations I have had with women I know it goes like this Person-Damn, I just found out I'm pregnant. What am I gonna do, I can't have this baby. I don't even want a baby. Me- Why? person- because there is no way I can have a baby, I can't even take care of myself me- well, why don't you consider adoption? person- noway, I'm not carrying it for 9 months and go through labor pains just to give it away. me-Why not person-because I don't want to. no. me- But there's alot of people who can't have kids that would love to have a baby and would take good care of it. person-Oh well, too bad. they are not getting mine. I told you I am not giving it away, and I don't want one. I wanna do what I want. I don't wanna be tied down with a baby.I like going out to clubs and having fun. me- Why didn't you use birth control if you didn't want to risk getting pregnant? person- I know. I should have but i didn't. But, I'm definetley going to next time.I ain't taking anymore risks. It might not even be my boyfriends. I'm not even telling him I'm pregnant. I'm just gonna make an appointment and get it taken care of. me- You know, pregnancey is not the only risk you take when you are not using condoms to protect yourself. person- I know ,but ??? is clean. He don't have nothing. me- Well, your actions are affecting you and other people and could have negative consequences for everyone involved, so you should start being careful because one day you will end up crying. person- I know, I know And a year later, 9 out of 10 times later. That person is back in the same situation seeking the same solution. Now, I'm not saying that this is true of all women, because I know that some women do use birth control and are careful not to get pregnant. But clearly, there are women who use abortion as a form of birth control. If you could convince a woman who does not want a baby because she doesn't want to be tied down, to have that baby, now remember, she will not send it for adoption because she "cannot carry it for 9 months and then give it away," how do you think it will be raised. It will probrably grow up knowing it is nothing but an inconvenience and be reminded of the life its mother had to give up because of him or her. Emotional and psychological problems? Most likely. And he might one day end up being that rapist behind those shudders. I'm sorry if this sounds harsh, but it is true. -
POLL Should I have them redone to make them perfect... Breast pictures
cris35 replied to princess_n_thep's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I think they look great and wished mine looked as great, but it is not what I think that matters. You paid money to have them look the way you want them to and you didn't achieve the results you were looking for. After paying 8k for the surgery, you should walk out a very satisfied customer. You should not have to feel self conscious about your breasts. Isn't that why you had them done in the first place? So you would feel more confident about the way your breasts looked? If you are not 100% satisfied, make an appointment with your doctor and let him know how you feel. If it really bothers you, let him know.Don't tell him that they are alright and you wished they were a little more symetrical. Tell him that it really bothers you and you don't feel any better about them than you did before the surgery. Of course if it really doesn't bother you and it is something you can live with and feel good about, then leave it alone and embrace those beautoful boobies lol. -
Do you take off your shoes?
cris35 replied to argon's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I am an American, and when I lived at home with my family I never took my shoes off, but when I was a teenager and started dating an Asian guy I had to take my shoes off in the Asian peoples home. When we moved in together we just always took off our shoes, so for 20 years I have taken my shoes off automatically when I enter someones home, even if they are American and do not require it. I have never asked anyone to remove their shoes in my home because I don't want to make my guests feel uncomfortable. As for my carpet? I have a nice little mat near the door to wipe the bottom of their shoes on should they need to be. I have never had a guest that was rude enough to come trotting through my home with their shoes full of mud. I guess it's just a cultural thing. -

396,I am a Christian and I would never impose my beliefs or views on anyone else.God gave us the freedom to make our own decisions whether they are right or wrong. He is the only one who can judge us accordingly. He is the only one who knows why someone does something and what they were feeling when they did it. So, instead of going around protesting everything that people do and focussing all of your attention on everyone elses sins, take a moment to reflect on your own actions throughout your life, and see what you can do to make yourself worthy of the pearly gates -
Absolutely! Why wouldn't I?My husband had a young daughter when I met him, ( I also had 4 kids of my own living at home with me). I had a very sweet polite 14 yr. old girl, A grouchy, argumentive, depressed 12 yr. old girl. A lovable 3 yr. old daughter, and a hyperactive 2 yr. old son.My husband must have seen something in me that not many others had for him to keep persuing me with the load I had on board. My ex couldn't handle the stress of living where children dwell and one day he up and left me for a childless woman. He doesn't mind helping to financially support them, so long as he doesn't have to have much direct contact with them.(What a LOSER!) Anyways, I met a wonderful man with a precious daughter. Her mother had all of her 8 children (with 6 different men) taken away by the state a year after we moved in together, so his daughter came to live with us.The road has had some hills and bumps, sometimes even a pothole appears, but for the most part its been pretty muched paved along the way. That seems so long ago, but I'm so glad we took that journey, because we love all of our children and eachother with all of our hearts. There is definetley enough love and patience in our home for everybody.

Hey IndioGirl, I know you will do it too! Just look how far you have come already. You will reach your goal just like I will reach mine. I absolutely believe that for sure.

Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual & Transgendered Bandsters

Hi all, I'm a str8 girl, but I'm supportive of everyone. The only thing I hate is IGNORANCE! I hope u all do well with this band. I've had it for 1 year and I love it. I'm -78 lbs. down to 168 lbs. This was the best decision I have ever made. The same people who put me down about my weight, are the same people who tried to scare me and talk me out of the band. I am soooo soooo glad I didn't listen to them. I guess some people don't want to see us to succeed because they're so insecure that they are afraid that we'll look better than them. (OK, that was off topic lol) But anyways, Good Luck everyone -
WHAT FOODS GETS STUCK or give you problems?
cris35 replied to Raven5683's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
OMG! Nearly everything gets stuck and gives me pain. I can't eat any solids in the morning at all. The worst offenders are as follows any bread, dough, anything made with flour really sux for me chicken breast pork chops steak ( except for an expensive cut like a filet) mashed potatoes(even with gravy) boiled eggs. The whites are the worst. Hamburg (even the tiniest well chewed bite) Pasta usually gets stuck, but sometimes works for me if cooked to mush, but then why bother when it's that mushy eewwwwee! sushi rice sux, I'm in agony until I finally get it up (YUCK)! As you can see, the holidays are pretty much of nothing for me. Things that I can eat the chickens dark meat spare ribs if not dry Soups crackers yogurt lowfat tortilla chips with salsa steamed rice almost all veggies if cooked crunchy things go down good most of the time no sugar added fudge pops 45 calories, and a great treat when i'm craving chocolate. Homemade baked hotwings sausage(although I hardly ever eat it because it is fattening) kielbasa(same as sausage though) cooked cabbage I don't know, I don't have a wide range of solids that I can eat, so I still drink my Protein shakes everyday and take my Calcium chews and Vitamins to make sure I'm getting what I need. It seems that I'm a sucker for punishment though, because every now and again I try to eat the repeat offenders, and am always wishing I hadn't. When will I ever learn? I'm getting a little better though, I wait at least a month before I try it again LOL! Well there you have it folks, the long list of delicious foods I have to plan my meals with (NOT)! lol -
Also, I like to make this delicious banana split smoothie once in a while for Breakfast. It tides me over almost all day. 1 small container of vanilla fat free yogurt 1/2 cup of skim milk 2 scoops of Isopure zero carb chocolate protien powder 1/4 of a small banana 2 fresh strawberries 1 tbsp of crushed pineapple in natural juices (no sugar added) artificial sweetener packets.(I use 2 , but use as to your desired sweetness) Throw it all in a blender and blend until smooth. I sip on 8 0z's, and give the rest to my daughter. She loves when I make these.

If you like chineese food, then you'll love this version of chicken chow mein. 2 chicken thighs 4 large onions 3 celery stalks 1 small can of sliced water chestnuts 2 1/2 cups of fresh beansprouts( if using canned, then add whole can) 1 can of fat free/reduced sodium chicken broth sea salt lite soy sauce corn starch (very little) Boil chicken until done and remove from pan and cool a bit. Drain water from pan and deskin and debone chicken into bite sized pieces.Return chkn to empty pan and add the can of chicken broth, sliced onions and celery. Salt it lightly with sea salt, as you will be using soy sauce also. Cook until veggies are almost completely tender. Add beansprouts and water chestnuts until sprouts are tender.,. Put a couple of spoons of cornstarch in a bowl and add some boiling water to make like a pancake batter consistencey. Put just a spoonful in the pan to thicken it up. a little bit more may be needed. I put it over steamed rice and sprinkle a little soy sauce on top. The kids however, like to put it over the crunchy chow mein noodles. This can also be made with lean hamburg and beef broth, only you cook the onions and celery with the hamburg, and when its done you add 1/2 can of broth, sprouts and water chestnuts. Absolutely delicious.
