I totaly understand!! I also have a sweet tooth,(actually a whole mouth full of them!!) I am in the process of getting off of sweets, I have banned all chocolate candy (I do allow myself some sugar free hard candy) I have also banned ice cream (even the low fat, sugar free) My husband and I are enjoining smoothies (2cups frozen strawberries, 1 cup skim milk and sweetnlow and equal to taste.) if you want to eat with a spoon use less milk. I also use slimfast(frozen in ice cube tray) and a hand full of strawberries with strawberry slimfast. french vanilla and some sugar free tang (1/2 of a 1 1/2 quart pack in about a cup of Water, it is kinda of like a dream sicle. Use sweet n low and equal to you taste.
I hope these ideas will help, I know once you get all the sugar out of your system it will be easier.
