I have not in anyway said I'm an expert on the Bible or the subjects thrown at me on everything from Judism to pasta believers, or whatever. I am a sinner just like you and do not claim to follow every little thing in the Bible. Old or New. I do listen to tapes and read the Bible. I can not even begin to answer questions on Judism or pasta worshipers, or whatever, but I am asking forgiveness for my sins daily and only hope His grace will given in the end. I am trying to change for the better and isn't that what it's all about? I am so sorry I started this and only hope it got just even one person to thinking of something else other than wanting to make me out a bad person for my choice on that stupid banana. Or the fact that I try to live my life through God's word. "TRY" being the key word here. The banana is gone from my signature because it seems to offend some. I chose it because it looks exactly how I feel, expecially since I started this subject. I can not believe I am being cruified for having a stupid shaking banana that has big boobs, I could not find a FAT one so this is what I settled for. Anyway it is gone for good. My doctor requires at least 4 weeks and I truly believe that waiting is the key. I never know from one day to the next what my postion is going to be as far as eating. Although it did not get like that till about the 3 fill. This lapband is one of the most unpredictable experiences I have ever had.

I am not "cherry picking"it is not something I intend to do. If just one person, including myself can live by the New Testament (the one instructed by God) we could all give this discussion up and live in peace and hormony. The old testament has been revised for this very reason for pete's sake.

But the Old Testament is not the way you can realistically live....it is the New that applies. I only thought that comment was a little facetious

Yes I can cross my legs as well and I remember when I first did it I about died. Doing things that were not possible or comfortable before and finding out you can do them now is wonderful and makes it all worth while, even though I'm having a hugh amount of trouble eating anything now it is all worth while. To this date I have lost 34 pounds and I do attribute it to finally starting the excercise program I'm doing now. I know that 34 pounds is not alot of weight considering what I have to go, but boy it sure has made a big difference in the way I feel. Hope everyone is doing well and feeling healthy

You know that is odd because that is what my surgeon has been calling it even before I was banded. It's even in the literature he gave me on the band and surgery. I will have to call and see if he knows what he's talking about, boy I hope so. He was one of the first doctors to bring it to Colorado. Anyway I still can't eat much of anything and last nite it seemed to open up. Wouldn't you know it would open at night! The worse time to eat possible.:faint:

I had a fill the other day and I am finding that I am @ 6.5 w/and 11cc Vanguard. I can not eat and even having trouble drinking without a considerable amound of pain, I wonder if this will go away in time or I should give it a few days and have an unfill?

No one said you had to be boring to be a follower of God...And you are not listening to me anyway your listening to Christ. I have nothing in this other than what the Bible states! (the one God instructed) Again I have absolutely nothing to do with hate for gays, truth be known I have a few friends that are, unfortunately they know what the Bible says and as alot of other people do choose to ignore it anyway, or justify it some how, like being born that way, and you know what maybe the Lord will allow that to be an excuse who knows? Bad thing though you won't know till the time comes then it will be to late. You know when I started this I knew there would be people throwing stones so to speak and that's okay. I know I said I'm done, but can't resist. You all can make this as complicated as you want and in the end it is all based on faith. As for my religion I don't know if I have one, as long as you go by the Bible, (meaning the one that was instructed by God) then there is no right or wrong answer. How in the world can anything be bad if you go by what is written in the Bible? Of course we are talking about the New Testament. I know if anyone has actually read the New Testament out of the Bible that was instructed by God then there would be no evil in anything, polictics or otherwise. Some can throw all kinds of kinks into this subject and make it as complex as possible but just think of how you would like to see the world as you live here. In other words no lying, stealing, hate, cheating, abuse, etc.... If you can not find the ten commandments in your bible the one instructed by God, then you are not going to understand any of this anyway. If you do not know what God we are talking about then I am sorry. Homosexuality is not a choice, I do already know that. Neither is being Fat, but here is something we can all understand, we are all here trying to change it. Some of us were born that way and some of us not, but in anyway you look at it we are trying to change. And that is all God asks you to do. Try to make yourself a better more descent person. Love is in all of us, some just more than others. Please try to find it in your heart to understand that living through the word of God is not a religion, take religion out of it and read the New Testament (the one instructed by God.) Hopefully if just one person does this and trys to live this way, meaning through the word of God, then all is not lost. Love and Peace to you all.

The 10 commandments are pretty clear to me. Maybe I'm just weird.

Please read these passages in the Bible, then if you can honestly say it is not clear on same sex relationships all that can be done is to pray for you. I hope this does not stir up anger in anyone because it is certainly not intented to do so. Again it does not matter what I think but what the Bible states. God should and is involved in every part of our lives whether we like it or not.

I only support what I read in the word of God.

That is what is wrong with the world today though, if the word of God was in practice there would be no doubt on any of these matters. Of course that would be in an unrealistic view. I know for myself God is everywhere......That has not one thing to do with religion. There is only one right way and that is through the Bible, follow that and nothing else really matters. It does not matter what I think about same sex marriage, but what God thinks.

I'm sorry I can't give any information on that but boy that must be an awful feeling! I would definately call the doc and ask him. I can't imagine it not breaking up and going down after that long.

I had that stretching pulling pain around my port area, if that is where it is my doc said it was the stitches coming loose but not to worry because by now the tissue is holding that port. I had surgery on June 7th. I also have that side ache kinda, I really don't know what that is.

Oh no! I live in Colorado where the weather changes every 10 minutes! I really thought I had a good fill till a couple day ago I actually ate chicken (a little) last nite. Also I purposely ate a little fast and no pb's, I hope this does not mean I have to go for another fill, I am truthfully afraid to do that not knowing what will be in store for me if I do. But I do know for 2 days I really feel more hungry and eating much more than usual.
