I fixed the formulae for folks that noted they were having issues. I fixed the "weeks left" formula for most everyone (there was a problem), and I alphabetized the newcomers. Welcome and good luck to all!

Welcome all!!!! The more the merrier. My scale hasn't been cooperating and I had a bit of a meltdown today. (I found the vanilla ice cream. ) Onward to tomorrow!

Is it still tax deductible if I put it on a Credit Card?
RobinAnn replied to FLbandgirl1985's topic in Insurance & Financing
Yes, it is considered paid the year you incur the debt. (Same as if you put a charitable contribution on your credit card on 12/31, that is a deductible contribution for that year.) The following quote is from the IRS Pub 502, Medical and Dental Expenses, 2008 -
Surgery Postponed.... so sad
RobinAnn replied to imwiththebandnyc's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Meant to add... hope your MRSA clears up soon. I had a postponement to my surgery too. I was scheduled for mid-June but developed a rash on the back of my leg and in my groin area. Two days before surgery the dermatologist determined the groin rash was a raging yeast-type infection. She did not advise surgery at the time so I had to postpone for a month. While I was disappointed, it all worked out. -
Surgery Postponed.... so sad

MRSA is a highly "-cillan" resistant staph (bacterial) infection. Very bad stuff. -
Dr. Gerald Kirshenbaum - Considering Dr. Kirshenbaum
RobinAnn replied to Shesha's topic in Weight Loss Surgeons & Hospitals
I assume you mean the rounding and the centering? I'd choose all the blue blocks from Laptastic down (shift and mouseclick) and then click on the "align" icon. Choose "center". Keeping those same fields chosen, click on the "123" icon and choose "two decimals". -

cash patients-cost of fills?
RobinAnn replied to BQT's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Self pay. First three months of fills for free. After that, $15 each (pretty much cost of supplies). -

I should have had my second fill today but had to reschedule due to a conflict with my husband's work travel (I have to travel across the state for my fills). I'm rescheduled for next Thursday (the 24th) and I really need it. I had some restriction until three days ago and it was like the floodgates of hunger were released. Struggling mightily this week. Next Thursday can't get here soon enough. I've only lost 16 pounds since surgery, but it's better than gaining, that's for sure.

pills to crush or not to crush
RobinAnn replied to toribug1234's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm amazed at the surgeons that prescribe post-surgery pain meds in pill form... just amazed. As for regular pills, my surgeon says crush them always. I take four tiny pills for my blood pressure daily and I've been dutifully crushing them for two months. I grind them up, dump them into my hand, then mouth, then wash them down with iced tea or Crystal Light. -
Any new joiners.... Just add yourself at the end of the list. I'll re-sort as needed.

Hey guys, just to let you all know, I sorted the spreadsheet by user name so that it is now alphabetical. No need to mark your name in a special color just to find it. (If everyone colors their name, then they'll all be hard to find! ) Your name should be there, alphabetically, with numbers first. Linky-doo

I'll take a look at the spreadsheet and fix it.

I've added some more lines so more folks can join us in the challenge!

Oh my goodness... I didn't want to read this and not respond. Sure hope it's an easy fix for you.

Wonderful.... collaboration at its best.

Back to work - How Quick
RobinAnn replied to Barley's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was banded on Wednesday, July 22 and was back to my desk job on Monday, July 27. I did have a month of medical leave from my duties as a voluteer EMT. -
The spreadsheet seems to be okay. I scanned all the edits and nothing seemed out of line. I've also backed up a copy of the spreadsheet as it is right now in case it gets messed up. (We can always revert to an earlier version if it gets too messed up.)
-
Column I is your banded date (if you want to provide it). I have Thanksgiving Day in Column J so that the calculation works in Column H. You don't need to put anything in Column J.
-
glammaw... I moved your data to line 30.
